About

Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Always fun

Even though the course was dried out as they were shutting down Sunday afternoon (after our round) to start over-seeding, it is always fun to play this track. For the conditions, it was still a great round. I always love this course - worth the drive out to Gold Canyon. The only knock I have on MB is their expensive beers, but ultimately they’re not anymore expensive than what a lot of courses are charging these days. I just liked it better when they were cheaper.

Great shape

This course is in impeccable shape right now. Not even just for summer, but great shape for any time of year. The views are hard to beat up against the mountains as well. Can't beat the value either.

Course is in great shape

Even the bunkers are vastly improved. The big pot bunkers on 18 are now one larger but shallow bunker. Staff was great. If you can take the heat, play it now.

Nice course

Would only recommend 200 150 and 100 markers on sides for visibility Staff is very friendly and helpful. Little slower pace than normal but ranger came around and informed us that all holes were full just slow pace . Would definitely recommend this Course have played here several times

Good shape for this time of year.
