Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Easy to find, easy check in, can now get carts to cars, carts good and have sand, tees good though hard to put tee in at times, fairways good, roughs spotty with grass, bunkers look good but generally not enuf sand to get under ball, water at start for us, ice too, water bucket for towels, greens putt pretty nice, prices now down some, played in 4 1/2 , has new management

Pretty nice shape

Had good pace even though there were 280 golfers out there today. Got paired with a congenial threesome and had a very fun day. Beer and burgers at the Prospector afterwards was a fine topper to the day.

Good day of golf

Beautiful Mesa weather. Nice course. Good condition. Greens were very good. Rough cut short I guess speeds up play or time of the year. Pretty open. 18 is very long and number 1 handicap. Staff was pleasant. Great that prices are coming down from high season.

Nice Relaxing Round

Good experience. Brought almond my 40 handicap fiancé and still got through in 4:45 and didn’t mind waiting on the groups ahead. Beautiful views and friendly people in the backyards adjacent. One guy gave us some free gratefruit.

Could maybe use one more shorter tee box. For old people or 40 handicappers.

Overpriced for condition

I’ve played this course each of the past 3 years. The price continues to go up, but the course conditions go down. Greens were in great shape, fairways and tee boxes were average. This course is fun to play, but needs to improve conditions for the price they are charging.

Good Mountain Views

Not too difficult of a course but challenging enough that you feel accomplished with a good score. Great views of the mountains. Condition is usually always great. If you can’t spend the $$$ on Dinosaur, this is a good substitute.

OVER PRICED

This course is nice but it isn't $117 nice. This course doesn't equal the value you pay for. They are trying to compete with the Gold Canyon resort thinking they are the better value. This place over charges you so bad that after your round you feel they should pay you to play there.
