Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Fun track

Don’t play in the winter/spring often because of pace of play and bang for my buck…however a hot deal at 2:57 caught my eye even with 25+ mph winds and rain in the forecast. Well the rain didn’t come during the round but 40 mph gusts did. Course very difficult with its narrow landing spots and smaller greens in wind but other than that, fun track with superb conditions where it counts. Good spot. 8.9 out of 10

Beautiful views and greens were excellent.

Mountainbrook is a great course for all skill levels. Many people in the Phoenix area are very disappointed at the rise in tee time prices and in some cases gouging that was occurring. The price I paid was a twilight rate and did not finish (15 holes)

This has always been the case from Feb-April in Arizona, but this year was extremely noticable...Too bad.

Great day at Mtn Brook.

The views are wonderful. Great bang for your Buck. Staff is great. Food is awesome! And the course is fun! Pace of play was the only kind of bummer, but it still wasn’t even that bad. Love playing the course.

Great first experience

Everyone very friendly and helpful. The course had received a lot of rain that morning so there were wet areas and carts were cart path only, not the courses fault.

Definitely have to know the layout of fairways and greens. Tough course, but it I enjoyed playing it for the first time

and look forward to coming back with some acquired knowledge.

If this course offers any discount it would be a very good value. Nice fairways, greens, layout but very very firm. Ball bounces on fairways as if it hit cart path. Pace was slow but as expected this time of year.
