About

Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

OVER PRICED

This course is nice but it isn't $117 nice. This course doesn't equal the value you pay for. They are trying to compete with the Gold Canyon resort thinking they are the better value. This place over charges you so bad that after your round you feel they should pay you to play there.

Played that course for several years and never seen it in such a bad shape

Price went up a lot and the course conditions went down a lot. Not a good receipe for succes

Always as good as expected

This course never disappoints me. Everything about this course is just great. The greens are shaping up really nice, not too fast or slow or fungus. If you are in the area, you must play this course !

Terrible conditions.

Very disappointing. The 2 gentlemen paired up with my buddy and I explained that theres new management. Well, looks like this new management is going cheap. No fertilizer. No water. No credit card reader in the bev cart. She said it’s been broken for weeks, yet hasn’t been fixed or replaced. Weeds everywhere. Yellow / dead grass all over. On top of the $125 green fees, I also go charged $$ to hit the beat up driving range before. Stay way and spend your $$$ elsewhere. Girls in restaurant & bev cart were nice. The rest of the staff were grumpy old men.

After the group behind us stopped hitting into us the round became more enjoyable. Excellent friendly staff. Course conditions were just OK, a little disappointed. Tee box ground was so hard it was difficult to put a tee into.
