Mountain Brook Golf Club

Had a morning tee was a bit cold but the wetness of the course early morning takes the cake, will avoid AM tees

This is my favorite course for so many reasons. Beautiful scenery, nice lay out and the pace was great..

I generally like Mountain Brook. This time was quite good. I have to admit I prefer it in the Summer when the price is less than half of the current price but for Winter it is still a good value

Why they don’t roll the green and speed them up is what makes this course a three star. The fairways need more grass seed when overseeding. Very spotty in fairways for grass. Love the cut trees around the lake. Guy in clubhouse could be more friendly. He is very cynical.

Mountain Brook is a course that everyone can play and enjoy. The views of Superstition Mountain are spectacular. Some fairways and greens are patchy in places but overall in good playing condition. Greens run smooth although we’re recently sanded at our time of playing. If not too pricey this course is great to play.

The course is open to the public but has members as well which is odd. You can't use the chipping area to practice or warm up. With tee times hard to get and the overall increases that golf courses have implemented lately, it seems like they would pick one approach or the other. Greens seemed slow for this time of year.

Great staff, very friendly! Was able to get out early with a lovely couple. The rough was a little penal which might be saying more about my game than conditions. Good value for the money.

Greens were in better condition than a month ago.. reseed helped

Distance markers need to be more visible.

This was a great force but it desperately needed yardage markers.
