Mountain Brook Golf Club

Nice course, Good layout, fairways in good condition. Some nice views of sSuperstition Mountain. Greens were not 100% as I expect like all other course in this area they have been recently reseeded. Nice views. Met a couple fellow Canadians from west coast. Although one was an oilers fan and I am a Maple Leaf fan I agreed that McDavid should have won the MVP last year over Mathews. 😜

Pace was a touch slow but we teed off on time at 1245 and finished in 4 hours and 15. Marshall did come around a couple times. 90 degree rule on carts was better than cart path only.

Course was a little thin coming off overseeding but was still pretty good. Greens weee also good and would hold wedges. The only complaint is they need to flip 1 and 10 back to the way it use to be because teeing into the sun in the morning is brutal, you can’t see you tee shots at all.

Friendly staff, great online price. Good conditions after overseeding and some beautiful views. Will be playing multiple times this trip.

Inconsistent yardage markers. Hard to find/see.

This was 3 times in a row that when we teed off it was 15 to 25 minutes behind schedule

Other than the disgusting smell of the waste water treatment facility at the west side of the course, I really enjoyed playing the course.

Super friendly staff, course in great condition, towards the end play got slow nur the marshal was there to speed up play.

Good mix of narrow and wide fairways, beautiful greens that maybe need a bit of speed to make the complexity more enjoyyable, good bunkers and locations, so only missing a bit more water as only 2 holes with water

The course was good overall for the money, however there were no tee box markers and the start was on the tenth hole, which no one informed us on.

There is also no beverage cart and it takes to long to get a snack from restaurant before starting the back nine.

Course was still recovering from overseeding, with Cart Path Only conditions in place. Tee boxes and fairways were thin, while greens were sparse and sanded, making them slow. Sand traps were inconsistent in depth of sand, with some being quite wet. Pace was fair (4:10), with value being fair. Give it two more weeks and it should be in much better shape.

This course was nothing special compared to all other courses in the area and in Phoenix area. Sand traps were terrible. No sand.

No one at bag dip or to clean clubs after. Wry disappointed

greens were slower than usual. I liked the mountain course the best! Great views!! I'll be back!!
