Kino Springs Golf Course
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in 2021.
Surrounded by acres of gently rolling hills studded with native mesquite and oak trees, Kino Springs Golf Course has a stunning location along the Santa Cruz River. Savvy birdwatchers know that it's a major flyway where you can see flycatchers, orioles, kingfishers, and grey hawks. The course is part of the historic Estancia Yerba Buena Ranch, which has hosted an impressive guest list over the years that includes John Wayne and Elizabeth Taylor. The golf course is player friendly enough for beginners but it has enough risk-reward opportunities to appeal to low handicappers. The opening holes play across open meadows but by the fifth hole you'll find yourself in canyon country. Mature pine trees frame Kino Springs Golf Course's last five holes but the views from the elevated tees stretch past the treetops to the scenic river.

Awesome Pro!
This course is a gem! The pro takes the time to drive around making sure everyone is having a good time! The only negative is the cart paths. Otherwise it's great. We had the golf and lunch package and had excellent service from the employees!!! And the food was from a special menu and very delicious!
Good Golf In A Country Atmosphere
We played this rural course on a January afternoon, and had an enjoyable round of golf. We got off to a bad start, due to poor directions furnished by Golf Now, but overcame that, and still enjoyed the golf. We were somewhat surprised by the good overall condition of the course. Overseeding of the greens was very light, leading to some very fast putts, but the fairways and sand traps were in good condition. The area is quite scenic, and adds to the enjoyment of the golf experience.
Really nic course
All around a very good experience for the price. I will definitely play again. Food and service were great.
Canyon holes are great
Kino Spring located 45 min. from Green Valley AZ.
Well worth the drive, Course is in great shape, friendly staff, great food.
Fun
We had a fun time at Kino Springs, course was interesting and the staff was really friendly, pace of play lagged a bit, but on vacation we did not have a problem with it.
Kino Springs
As usual the greens were in excellent shape. They're fast but fair. Fairways were nicely grassed, about as good as you can expect on a desert course. Traps were well groomed. Carts were newer than the last time I played there and they worked well.
Kino Christmas
Great greens, great staff and great price.......we will definitely be back!
In Great Shap
Greens are excellent, Course in the best shape in years.
Best greens in the area.
Greens were excellent. Fairways were good for December, but the grass was a bit uneven.
Great Day at Kino
Being December thought course would not be in good condition. As we pulled up found fairways green with think grass and greens looking great. Pace was very good, all holes were in great condition and greens humbled me. (not used to well groomed greens this time of year) All in all, I am looking forward to returning for another game. Only thought would be that it was a 72 par instead of 71.
Beautiful Setting
Course in great shape. Beautiful setting. Couse staff very courteous. It is worth the drive from Tucson.
Beautiful Course
Course in excellent condition. Greens were fast but smooth. Fairways were green and in great shape. Course is challenging but not so difficult that the average golfer can't enjoy it. Views are spectacular.
Fun course in great shape
Great mix of holes. Some up thru the hills and some out in the flats. Greens are fast. Not a lot of out of bounds, but lots of areas off the fairway that is really overgrown and not out of bounds. Worth the drive from Green Valley. Fun but challenging for an average player
Randy
Good elevation changes greens somewhat undulating and fairways green and easy to hit from
Wonderful Layout
A pleasant day on the course is available to all who wish to play.
Worth the drive

Hidden gem, Best greens right now in southern AZ. No frills kinda place, they put the money where they need to and its into the course and it shows. Bit of a drive, but worth it!
A variety of shots awaits!
The course was in great shape. Tee boxes and fairways were well maintained while the greens were in excellent shape. Shots into greens were holding and putts held their lines.
Directions to the course from Tucson still have not been corrected. It is necessary to turn right off of Ruby road on to Via---something, in order to get on River road.
