Sedona Golf Resort
About
Nestled amidst the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona, Sedona Golf Resort offers truly unique scenery. The golf course sprawls across elevations ranging from 3,960 feet to as much as 4,260 feet, a landscape that provides elevated tees, raised greens, tricky lies, and difficult approach shots. The dramatic elevations also offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The course winds in and out of the rock formations, giving each hole a unique character and scenery. It is not particularly long at 6,646 yards but the challenging elevated greens and winding doglegs make up for any lack of length. The sixth and the 10th are the signature holes but one of the most challenging holes comes earlier, the second. This hole really takes advantage of the Sedona topography, offering sight of the raised green but little else in front of it.

Great experience
Friendly employees and interactions from the start. Had a slightly later tee later time and ended up getting paired a little earlier with another single. Pace of play was pretty good, considering a 5-some in front of us. Weather and course conditions were great. The only complaint was the sand trap conditions(just hard and dry, but it's a desert), but hey, I shouldn't be in them in the first place. Course is well laid out and visually very beautiful. I think the value I received was huge considering the typical cost of play. I would definitely play here again.
Nice!!!
Incredible course with incredible views.
Conditions were excellent!!!
Starter was really nice AND informative about the course and where to catch the best views!
Scenic Course, but Slow Due to Course Management
This is one of my favorite courses, and the scenery is beautiful to the point of almost being distracting. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition, but most of the bunkers had very little sand, and what was there was hard and compacted. They have added new sand to a few of the bunkers, but have a long way to go.
What was most annoying was that the cart signs (indicating cart path only beyond this point) were placed an excessive distance from the greens (at least 50 to 100 yards). This really slowed play because people would often have to leave their cart on one side of the fairway, walk across the fairway to hit their shot, and then walk back to their cart to move it up to the green. This obviously caused unnecessary delay in play, because even if we were fortunate enough not to have someone in our group not hit a shot that landed 50 or more yards from the green, we frequently had to wait for someone in the groups ahead of us.
Still, given the beauty and overall condition of this course, I would give it a must play recommendation if you are in the Sedona area.
One of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played
The course is gorgeous and was in excellent shape. Love playing this course.
Poor conditions
In the golf shop they said the course was in great shape. Except for the tees fairways traps and greens it was. No food was available due to a function. I will be going back to Sedona but I'm not playing there.
Beautiful course!!
My wife and I played here yesterday and the course was absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to return and play again.
Red Rocks Are Beautiful - BUT
You don’t need to pay exorbitant green fees to see Red Rocks of Sedona. The pro shop staff were great, the course was not. Grass off the fairways was cut poorly. Stripes of grass were 2 inches taller than its neighbor and speckled with clumpy bare spots. The layout and trees are similar to many courses I’ve be played in the Midwest for less than have the price. The course is not horrible, it’s simply not worth the money. A five hour tour of Sedona might have been a better choice.
Sedona golf resort course
Fairways are in good shape. Greens are shabby, old pin cuts not filled in and they need to get a divot/ball mark repair machine to use as a resort course, players rarely fix ball marks on green. Tee boxes need divots filled in as most were hacked up. Tee boxes were also covered with broken tees. Pace of Play was slow, as never saw a ranger, group ahead of us, clearly not handicapped would drive and park both carts nearly on the green.
Sedona Golf Resort
It's a must play course if you're visiting the area. Some of the greens had rough patches and they had already started areorating. Overall, my 3 guests were thrilled with the panoramic views. Service on the course was slow. We tee'd off before 8am, there was no breakfast food available then, and the first cart service wasn't around until 10am.
Sedona is Awesome!
The views, scenery, and condition of this course was superb! We had a great time!
Ok but not great
They told me the course was in great condition in the pro shop. Except for the fairways traps and greens it was. No food was available and all the water stations were empty.
Most scenic
A lovely course with some very scenic holes. Pace of play was slow with a 5 hour round
Enjoyed
Great course, challenging, well kept, and of course amazing views of the surrounding mountains!!!
Price is too high for the product
The driving range lacks grass in the hitting area and bunkers lack sand. These conditions are commensurate with a muni course priced at $50 per round, not $195 per round.
