Fun little course
Enjoyed playing here again. Accuracy is a plus here as it is very tight . Lost a few balls but that's to be expected.
A good golf day!
Great little course with lots of interesting variation in the hole layouts. Fun for beginners and challenging for the more advanced players. The only issue was we were told on hole 8 that the carts needed to be back by 4pm which was ridiculous because it's light until 5:30. Also we were not told about this ahead of time. They should make their policy known when setting up the reservation and when checking in to play.
Coyote Trails! What a hidden gem!
Great 9 hole course tucked in between a couple of 55+ neighborhoods. Pace of play slowed down around hole 7 and 8. It wasn't a big deal as the morning groups were finishing, so when I made the turn it was wide open.
The fairways are tight and the greens are fast. The courses I usually play are much longer than this, so it made me use my brain and clubs in my bag that don't normally get used.
If you are in the Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome, or Sedona area, go check out Coyote Trails. The staff and other players were super friendly. The major plus, the price in this area is hard to beat. I will be back to play this course!
Small course, Tight layout
I didn’t read the reviews before I played this course. It was only a nine Hole and not in good condition. Not a course I would replay or recommend to my friends. There are better courses to play near y. Sorry for the bas review but I have to be honest
Cool Small Town Course
This course is a great little surprise in this small town of Cottonwood. It could have a better design and some of the trees that are impeding the fairway could be taken out. But for the price and the area, this is a very nice place to play.
Tough but fun
Fairways are narrow, greens aren't big. My wife and I had a fun round.
Fun Course In Cottonwood
Played a birthday round at Coyote Trails. Course is well maintained with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Northern Arizona.
Challenging executive course
Coyote Trails is a challenging course due to its narrow fairways and undulating greens. Par 5 is short as well as the par 4's, thus making club selection very important. The narrow fairways makes this more of a "target" golf course. Straight shots are essential. Great course for improving your short game.
Great course
The course is a great short course, the only upside right now is the airrating of the greens so the greens are very slow and bumpy but other than that it’s a fantastic little course to play for all golfers.
Dog patch
$42 for 9 holes. Way too expensive for nine holes of what I call a dog patch. Greens were punched, but wouldn’t have been good even if the punching was two months ago. Tea boxes were pretty bad also. I guess the locals like it because it’s the only public course around. I’m sure many enjoy it. once was enough.
Nice day with my wife
We have played this course many times over the years. It was especially nice as my wife had her first hole in one on #5. Not an easy par 3 to land.
First time out
This 9 hole course played well and was a great way to start our golf season. Play 9x2 which worked out great. Course was in great condition and the operators and patrons were over the top
Great way to start the season
This was our first round of the year and the course offered great challenges. Not a long course but narrow so you needed to be accurate. Only 9 holes but we played it twice with priority given to players on the turn. Very friendly and helpful staff and patrons
