The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley

It was in fantastic shape tee to green and very good layout on top of that. Add it to your list!

This is the first time I played this course since the late 1990's and I live within 5 miles. I had a much better experience than playing Starr Pass a week earlier.

The course was in excellent shape for the end of June. The fairways were all green, no burnt-out areas, and the greens were good. Had some weather come in and it cooled things off and made the last 8 holes pleasant.

The greens were in great condition the fairways were beautiful the staff was cool and the tee boxes weren't too shabby. They have the nicest golf carts

The greens have been recently aerated and are ready for another sanding. Course should be great in a few weeks! Pace of play was great, finished in less than 4 hours. Staff was friendly, look forward to playing there again in the near future.

Not sure if they rebuilt the greens themselves a few years back or hired it out but either way fire the internal builder or get your money back. After all this time still rock hard and patchiness of grass. Understanding they don't over-seed fairways, they are limited in dormant Bermuda grass as things are just coming to life, so expect lots of run off the tee. Indoor staff was certainly nice enough, but another example of how a Ranger (who is probably a volunteer there to get free golf) ruins the day. We were let off the fist tee not on our exact time and no one in from or behind. By the fourth hole, Ranger Rick was telling us we were behind even though no one in front or behind waiting. We played as a foursome in under four hours, so you tell me how that constitutes any discussion about pace. This is my 3rd and last time I will play at this facility....way too much money for a resident guest fee w/ cart for conditions and service we experienced. El Con up the street is a much better option.

Nice track with hard and fast fairways. Greens not the best but playable. And the views of the mountains were great on most every hole. The local bar and restaurant were great and had live music.

Great views hence the name. Course has great bones but for whatever reason they don’t overseed in the winter. I have played this course many times in the past and as a rule in good shape, but now no grass just hard pan painted dormant Bermuda . I also don’t get why they the greens are like cement! I will play here again but not until the summer grass is back.

I would like to play here again before giving a true review of this course.

The course is in terrible condition. No consistency in bunkers. Some are hardpan, some are fluffy. None are well maintained. Groundskeekers use machine grooming that leaves deep wide furrows. They don't bother to smooth out. Worse rhan footprints. The greens, not overseeded, have places where 6 old hole plugs are within a 4 foot diameter circle. They have had to resort to placing 2 hole locations on every green. It doesn't look like the superintendent ever goes out to inspect the conditions , or oversee and supervise the workers.

The fairways are not overseeded. They're matted down and roll like linoleum. Very very tight lies. The areas around the greens on severl holes are covered in crabgrass (now dead) that make chippin or putting very difficult.

This is one of my favorite local courses. Unfortunately the management decided to skip overseeing this winter. Painted fairways and greens really detract from the experience.

Last played this course on the day before they closed to replace greens. Happy to report that project turned out well -- the greens now are a bit firm, but otherwise healthy and smooth. Overseed went well - tees and fairways have grown in nicely. Beautiful weather made for a terrific day on the links. Cart girl is extremely cute. Beware the javelinas grazing just off the cart path behind the 18th green.
