Excellent Golf Course
The course is a few minutes outside of Tucson but worth the drive. Great course. Great Value.
Challenging but fair and fun
First time to play the preserve. Beautiful conditions and the layout, vistas and conditions were awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’ll be back👍👍
This is one of the great Arizona courses
This course is a must do if you are in Arizona .I was recommended this course by a teaching pro at another course. Great conditions, tee boxes, fairways, traps, greens .
The inside staff and pro were very kind and friendly and the starter helpful . I will return soon and also promote this great track .

Great course!
It’s a great course that has its share of challenging holes. Don’t turn to hole 8 when you’re heading for hole 5 haha. Otherwise little to nothing wrong with the course.
Great start to the New Year
Course was beautiful and challenging, staff and members were very friendly and helpful, for the money this might be the best value in Tucson. Will be our go to course anytime we are in the area.
Recommend
Enjoyed playing this course, it was in great shape.
Nice mix of holes, most with great views.
Only suggestion would be is to replace gas carts with battery powered.
First try, 5 star experience
Club house was relaxed. Starter was friendly. People on the course were easy going. Pace of play was immaculate and the greens and fairways were in great shape.
I would call this a 5/5 and my only detraction would be sand traps are not always in perfect shape, but that is to be expected in any Tucson course, let alone a public one. If you are on the fence I say come play it.

This is a wonderful course! Excellent staff, amazing fairways. Definitely a challenging course for an average person but worth it.

Beautiful, tucked away course. Our group plays an evening round some place new twice a month while the rates are reduced for summer. Though it’s a bit more expensive than most, it will be a staple going forward. Brenda in the shop was great and starter/marshall/host Henry was knowledgeable and very friendly (despite us making him late for dinner).
beautiful Troon course
The preserve is one of two Troon courses at SaddleBrooke HOA2 (the other is Mountainview). The course is in great condition. The only negative is that some of the sand traps are less than great but that is due to the need for them to be rebuilt. given their age they play fine. The Fairways, tees, and Greens are in great condition. The course is beautiful against the mountains and is somewhat challenging so high handicap golfers will be challenged. There is also a very nice restaurant there that is open tues-Sunday. Overall one of the nicest courses in Tucson.
