Celebration Golf Club
About
The 18-hole Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Celebration Golf Club measures 6757 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 141 and a 73.1 USGA rating. The course features 6 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bermuda grass.
Father and son team of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. created a golfing experience that is second to none at Celebration Golf Club. As a result, Celebration is a championship venue with the park-like feel of a modern, Florida course.
They were also successful in creating separate personalities between the nines. On the front, many holes border wide boulevards lined on the other side by pre- 1940 replicate homes from America's southern region and that of Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. But with the back, the homes fade into the brush letting Mother Nature take center stage. Designed with shot-making strategy in mind, this championship caliber course demands accurate approach shots and consistent putting.

Golfer Reviews
Humid
Course was a nice layout and fairways were in good shape as well as the greens. However we didn’t enjoy it the way I believe we could! Rained day before so it was cart path only the whole course which would be no biggie but it was at least 101 degrees and very humid.
Great place for a round...
Great all over..... facility, lunch, course condition, staff......
Another great day at the office…
First time playing at Celebration GC and it was a very pleasant surprise and experience. The course and greens were in great shape. Staff were friendly and pace of play was great. Will be playing again and recommend playing while in the Orlando area.
Slow Slow Slow
Course is in good condition. Greens punched a while ago, still bumpy but ok. However, a five hour round is unacceptabe. At one point we had three groups waiting on a par 3, We called the clubfouse and were told "nothing we can do about it"!!!! Dont think I will be playing here again anytime soon.
19 June 2026
Course in great condition and it was a nice surprise to include lunch
Worth the trip
Very nice course and friendly staff.
Front nine was good and the back nine even better.
Pace of play was good as well.
Would highly recommend playing here next time you are in Orlando.
Lots of water
The course was very nice. Good location with nice surrounds and some lovely houses overlooking the course partially on the back nine. The majority of holes had some water, some more than others but did prove tricky. The course was in nice condition although the greens were a bit slow/bumpy as they looked like they had been aerated and need a bit of growth repair
Great first impression
First time and certainly won’t be the last! We had such a fun time playing this course and plan on coming back again! Course was well maintained and such a friendly staff! Plus the included meal was a nice touch!
Great fairways
The course was in excellent condition! Highly recommend
Overall, it's ok
It's not a bad course, but there are several things about it I don't care for.
The first thing I don't like is they charge you a $2 "Environmental Fee" on top of the greens fee, which I consider to be chiseling. Prices should be set to cover expenses and profit without added nickel and dime charges which can't be avoided. Perhaps they are trying to virtue signal how green they are.
The second thing I don't like is their practice of forcing strangers to share golf carts, which I also consider chiseling. I played at Shingle Creek the other day, was paired up with two other singles, and we all had our own cart.
The third thing I didn't like on this occasion was the crabby, weird ranger. On the 6th hole, he told our foursome that we needed to speed up even though we were playing at less than the course recommended 15 minutes per hole pace and there was no one in front of us or behind us. He also said we should not have let a single play through us a few holes earlier. Then, he was evidently so concerned about our pace of play we never saw him again. The rest of the staff was very friendly, however.
Lastly, the grass in the fairways and rough was quite sparse in a lot of places, which was perhaps due to the recent drought. But don't they have sprinklers?
So, it's not my favorite area course, although it is conveniently located to where I stay when I'm in town.
Nice Course and a favorite to play when here
i’ve played her a couple times prior. The course is a fun layout. Challenging. The only drawback is when it rains. It does get swampy here like other reviewers have said. So everything becomes car path only pretty regularly. I think this used to be a Disney property. But it’s still a fun course to play. In fact, I played twice when I was here for the weekend. Definitely one of the courses I play when I come in town if you can get a decent hot deal it’s definitely worth it. Don’t necessarily think it’s worth $120 summary they charge.
Great Robert Trent Jones Layout
I grew up playing a RTJ Sr. Course in Rochester, NY. Celebration reminded me of my old home course. Interesting layout with challenging greens. The course was in great shape given recent rains. Fairways were well manicured and the greens rolled true, but a bit slower due to the rain. I would definitely recommend this course.
Great place
The golf club was conveniently located, and the course layout was exceptionally well-designed. While the club itself was challenging, the experience was great.
