Celebration Golf Club

It's expensive. Especially for non-residents. But it's a must play experience. I've played 20+ rounds in the Orlando area during a three-month vacation and no other course was in the condition this one was. Throw in a free lunch, an unexpected free cookie delivered to you during the round and the overall professionalism and friendliness of the staff and Celebration is a winner.

Have played several times. Always in Peak Winter months. The pace of play never an issue. Well organized starter and ranger see to that. Enjoy the practice areas. Island greens. The best. Was a bit surprised with the conditions of the greens. Most were good. A few had some sort of disease that looked like the green was gone. The crew had no choice but to fill in with what they could. I’m not complaining, I’m just telling you what to expect.

By all means, eat in m the restaurant. Nice area. Very nice staff, drinks and food.

Of course, was in fantastic shape all the way from the tea boxes into the fairway and the greens. Truly enjoyed this course.

Planned a golf trip with three buddies, this was our final course on Saturday morning and by far the best course in this price range that we played. We even went back for a replay that afternoon and had a blast again. Course was in great condition, staff was all above and beyond friendly, pace of play was spot on, rangers present but not obtrusive. Could not recommend more. We are between 10-20 handicappers and course was challenging and forgiving, but just plain fun.

Celebration, being close to Disney and being formerly owned by Disney, has nods to Disney on the grounds. The layout of the practice facilities is great and the operations from the starter were efficient. Pace of play was great as the rangers and starter are very strict about people keeping pace, but they were not rude about it. The price was a little steep for what you get on the course, but that is to be expected in a heavy vacation zone. Some fun holes and some challenging shots. I am a long hitter (280-300 off tee with driver) and had to take my medicine and club down on more than half of the Par 4 and 5s. Some of the greens had patch marks but the greens crew placed the holes in places away from these marks and the putting conditions were solid. Overall a fun day and definitely a place you should consider if you're staying in Disney or staying close by in Kissimmee. Challenging enough for low handicaps but not too long, allowing high handicaps to score on some of the holes where water isn't too much in play.

I could not recommend this course enough. Great layout and fun to play. My son and I played it on our recent trip to Orlando. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff and the free lunch didn’t hurt.

We played with friends and enjoyed it very much. Proshop staff to starter all friendly and helpful. There was a $2.00 environmental fee to pay for each golfer..which I thought was rather odd. Played our round in just over 4 hours. There were a couple of greens that were being worked on, top dressing maybe reseeding, but did not effect our putts. Would play again.

Playing here was a real treat. Friendly people. beautiful place. fun course. I think many people might have sticker shock sometimes with Orlando courses (esp in season) and then they expect "perfection" -- but that's just not realistic. Courses have brown spots here and there. They have divots. But this course is most definitely worth the money. ALSO... worth mentioning that the fairways are PRETTY generous ... The town of Celebration is gorgeous -- and I think it was originally built for the movie "Truman Show"? -- and the course is just as beautiful. If you're on vacation here in Orlando, this is a great course to play. It's fun. It's beautiful. Wildlife. Good balance of challenge and strategy. (Oh - and I DIDnt get the free lunch because my tee time was too late, but that's a GREAT benefit.)

my ONLY complaint was that the pace was VERY very slow. I think it took us 5 to 5-and-a-half hours for the round. we BARELY got it in as the sun was setting. HOWEVER... interestingly enough, it really didn't FEEL slow until around holes 12 or 13.

But i HIGHLY suggest this place. (I should mention... the reason I didn't put this as a 5 star course is simply because it's not the ABSOLUTE TOP TIER... streamsong or cabot are amazing... sure thing... not a BLADE of grass out of place... but they are also 2x or 3x the price! (or more!)

Only a few issues with some tees burned out the rest of the course played very well, rolled great!!! Great Staff, Lunch was Great after the round!!

We’ve played this course several times over the past 3 years. We love the layout, neighborhood and course amenities. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in the condition of the greens this year. Almost every green had little clumps of grass growing in them. We had multiple times that our putts were impacted. We were surprised that this higher end course had this problem, while the did other courses in the area did not.

Nice course layout, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly staff. For the price, the greens were not in good condition.
