Worst course ever
DO NOT ever come here. Terrible course. Significantly over priced. Conditions are crap. Rangers can’t speed up play at all. Overbooked just an overall terrible experience every time I come here

Yeah - lots of improvements
Course is working hard to fulfill its destiny. Riveted bunkers, GOOD green complexes, improved tee boxes and alignment planning - I’ve got to give this place props. Playing it for about 10+ years - it’s a ‘real’ course now - not just a neighborhood hack&slash.
Fun and Challenging
I enjoy Penderbrook Golf Course. Every hole has a uniqueness to it. Some short par 4's, some long par 3's, shots over water, a couple blind shots that require an ego check on club selection. Played on the 4th of July and was never slowed from the group ahead. The 9th hole is in the middle of the course so they have a snack bar in between 9 and 10, which was open. Saw the cart attendant at least 5-6 times. No complaints, price is pretty good for the area. Not a super long scorecard but requires skill to play well. Next time I'll see what the food and bar area is about, looked very inviting! The only problems would be the driving range is literally a few rubber mats inside of what looks like a batting cage, and the course gets hit with a lot of sun so the sprinklers are occasionally on and/or maintenance team is out hosing down dry areas. All in all - highly recommended
A good challenge if you want to pay for it.
This course is generally well maintained and the pace of play is good. It has a few too many blind shots for the tightness of the course but if you know your yardages you can score. I think the weekday prices are too high for the course but if you can get a great deal off GolfNow then it's worth the look.
Decent Course
Some holes were being repaired so there were some rough areas. Pace of play was very very slow. Some holes would have 2-3 groups backed up and I only saw a marshal on the course once. The ground was very hard in a lot of spots on the course.
Greens were in great shape and the par 3 greens were challenging. For the pace of play and some fairway conditions, the price was on the high side.

They wouldn’t let me play already paid for round of golf told them I had my wife riding with they said 11 dollars took out 20 cash to give to the lady says u can’t pay cash even if I give u 20 not 11 she says no so lost 55 dollars and didn’t play my round but paid for it worst course in nova

We do not accept cash at this time, and have not since COVID started. This policy is posted on our website.
The interaction you had with the staff is unacceptable and there is no reason to curse and yell at staff in a threatening manner.
I was played a lot at this course few years ago and when I played yesterday course conditions is lot better than before.

Hello, we looked back at the GPS pace of play data for the date of your play and the longest round was 4:25, which on a busier Friday is acceptable pace, pace for the course is set at 4:00. Our tee times are 10 minutes apart and that is what we stick to, never more.
As far as the conditions of the course, we believe it is in extremely good conditions for this time of year, as you can see from the prior reviews. We have also upload recent pictures on google that show the current conditions.
