improvement
Last year the course was on construction. Now it's finished. The course has been so much improved. Somewhat more difficult in playing. But I love it.

Not qualified for operating during this time
Even we noticed the announcement of reconstruction, but the real course was much worse that what was told, not only the hole 4 and 15 much shorter, the fairway are purely soiled that making your tee shot uncontrollable even you hit right. I suggest the higher awareness of the real condition. Meanwhile marshal was much worse. We were not that slower and we have full 4 players in one flight, the next one had only two and were very impolite to stand right behind, marshal didn't know how to behave appropriately! That totally destroyed our mood for the game. Thanks! Never come back!

Hello, we are sorry we did not meet up to your expectation. There were alerts on all tee times about the two holes being shortened due to maintenance. As for the fairways, there are certain grasses that go dormant during colder months turning a yellow color and during the month of February, the ground can be very hard because of the cold weather.
It is not the marshal’s responsibility to control a group waiting on a group in front of them, but if there is a twosome behind a foursome, the twosome may be waiting even when the foursome is on pace, there is nothing the marshal would do at that point. Their responsibility is to keep proper pace for each group no matter the group size.
We do hope to see you back as course conditions during the season are much better than in February.
Golflover
There were some constructions going on at least 3 holes. Those holes were initially par 5 or 4. However, the tee boxes were relocated and I had to play less than 200 yards in each holes. I did not hear anything about the course construction from the starter. When you think of the price of the course, it is not worth playing until the constructions are done.
Other holes were in good shape. I liked the course layout and bunker and green condition. I might visit again but maybe later this year around June.

Another great round
Always enjoy playing this course. The staff is super friendly and it is evident that they are putting a ton of work into the entire golf course. Stay away from the deep bunkers, if possible.
Fun layout
Good place to test your game with long narrow greens and narrow fairways. Sharpen your wedges and have your fairway finder ready for this test of golf.
Love/Hate Relationship
Played this course one other time a few months back and wasn’t very impressed. However, came back and the conditions and greens were actually fabulous. Was by myself and able to complete 12 holes in an 1.5 hours until I ran into miss LPGA. She was in front of me and alone as well but decided to tee off SIX times with me behind her and continuously did this. I also waited 15 min on the fairway for her to leave the green as she decided it would be a great time to work on her putting.
Feel like this happens a lot in the area as I am a new resident of 2 months. Trying to find a course that’s cheap on weekdays after/during work seems to also be a struggle with the conditions I’ve been getting. For 55$ at 3pm twilight and overall conditions Penderbrook was in, it was worth it.
Greens 9/10, Fairways 6/10, Box 6/10
