Visible course improvements
We had not played the Pines at Lindsey Wilson for a year. We noticed right away that the fairways looked fuller, especially the back nine, which has always been more sparse on grass in places. The tee markers were new, and showed up really well on the tee box. Staff were busy mowing fairways, and were possibly getting to the tee boxes and greens, which were a little long. However, this area had just seen about 2 weeks of off and on heavy rain, so I would give the course a by on that. The ranger is on top of pace of play, but we did notice this course does not pair up separate couples to make a foursome as a lot of courses do. We will come back to The Pines at Lindsey Wilson again because it is a pleasant place to play a round of golf for a reasonable greens fee.
The Pines at Lindsay Wilson
This is an excellent course for the value in our area! I have been playing there for several years now. And they have really done A favor job on the course! New cart paths and the coarse is in great condition!
Good course
Fun layout with not a lot of green side trouble. Greens are in great shape only complaint I really have is there are alot of hard pan surface in the fairways.
Masters Opening Day
Always fun to get out for 18 on the first day of the Master’s. Course was in good shape for this early in the season. Will even better as the fairway grass comes in.
Very well maintained
Great course for an area that doesn't have a lot of golf options. They maintain this course very well. Multiple 5 pars and challenging 4 pars. Absolutely well worth the money they charge to golf here. Only knock is the restaurant went out of business last year, and there isn't any drinking water available on the course
Everything ok except you need to bring a hammer to put your tees in the ground on the tee boxes
The course was in good shape, the greens as well but a bit slow. The back 9 closed down that day for aeration and sand topping.
