Pines at Diamondhead Country Club
About
The Pines at Diamondhead Country Club was the first of two 18-hole golf courses built on the property. The semi-private course opened in 1969.
Designed by Earl Stone, the Pines measures 6,817 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 134 and a 73.5 USGA rating. The golf course features four sets of tees for different skill levels.
The major challenges for both courses are their tree-lined fairways. The Pines Course has well-placed bunkers and water that comes into play on many holes.

Fast greens beautiful course drove from louisiana to play and the drive was worth it
Only 9 played on Cardinal
Interesting and fun layout, rained out after 9. Will be back. Rates seem a little high, and can't book a single online. ($36 a golfer for 2 or more, but $44 for a single)
Old timers course
Does not drain well at all. Starters are clueless as to pace of play or grouping people. Maybe I’m just a northern golfer that expects well quality. Members playing in jeans kinda sums it up
The pines is better than cardinal
Food was good and wait staff very nice
Immaculate
Diamondhead has always been a favorite of mine. The new greenskeeper has done an excellent job of restoring both courses to their original state. Well worth the money!
Enjoyable Day
Everything was great - course was in good condition, staff was accommodating, Bloody Mary's were very good.
Excellent condition
We played the back nine of the Pine course and the back nine of the Cardinal course. Both nines were in great shape. The greens were superb, magnificent shape. Beautiful bentgrass greens. Excellent, interesting layout, too.
dyoung
Beautiful, esp. the back 9. Fairways and greens excellant for this time of year.
Diamond Head Cardinal course
I would strongly recommend this course to a friend. I will definately play thier again. Staff was excellent. We ate lunch and had terrific food and good friendly service. Very reasonable prices for food.
This course has some good challenges would be best played in dry contitions.
Course was very wet, unfortunately they had a very wet winter and it rained almost all day before our day of play. Greens were in excellent condition for winter time play. Cart Path only not a real issue, course relatively flat.
Greens were in great shape for December
this course was the greenest I have played on yet note this is November and December.
Starter was really friendly ,
Course is non- description
Not very good condition. Boring, and needed some attention.
Beautiful course
Course was in great shape. Very nice greens and fairways. I cannot wait to go back to play again. It was definitely worth the little over an hour drive from my home.
Great Course
Diamondhead has 2 courses. Today, we played the Cardinal. Challenging course, especially on the greens. They're nice, and like glass, so your speed has to be right, and your lines on. Fairways were nice, grass was plush, and sand traps were soft and maintained. A great value, and they have great specials. Props to the starter on 1 for some nice tips, too. Will be back.
Forgiving off the tee, greens tough but fair.
Newly renovated course, interesting holes, great condition.
WONDERFUL MISSISSIPPI GOLF COURSE
WONDERFUL TRACK, NICE PEOPLE. REALLY ENJOYED OURSELVES.
this course does not have many water holes
it's a good course, not too challenging. Very user friendly. The second cut is easy to hit out of.
Great course
One of the best course around the gulf coast. Prices are fare and they have 36 holes. The staff are friendly and understanding.
Very fair course and in good shape
The staff was more than friendly and easy to deal with. The starter knew a lot about the course and offered value information at the 1st tee box.
Play was swift with no waiting.
Will definitely play again.
The other golfers and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The pace of play was excellent.
