Pines at Diamondhead Country Club

About
The Pines at Diamondhead Country Club was the first of two 18-hole golf courses built on the property. The semi-private course opened in 1969.
Designed by Earl Stone, the Pines measures 6,817 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 134 and a 73.5 USGA rating. The golf course features four sets of tees for different skill levels.
The major challenges for both courses are their tree-lined fairways. The Pines Course has well-placed bunkers and water that comes into play on many holes.

Great course
The course was great especially for the price, staff very helpful, got off earlier than teetime. Would play again when in the area.
Awesome course
Greens were pga fast and fairways were perfect.
Can’t wait to go back.
First time playing this course.
The course was very nice and well kelp. Truly enjoyed it with my son.
Enjoyed playing here. Nice weather and course condition. Played at a comfortable pace. Will play here again soon.
Diamondhead Pine Course
The course was really well taken care of. Some bald spots here and there, but for the value was great for the money
Great condition. Staff needs service training. (Cardinal course) May 2023
Greens were in good shape and rolled well. A few patches of algae and dead grass. Fairways were smooth and cut. Rough wasn’t too high. Bring a rangefinder or app. No yardage on sprinkler heads.
Looked at reviews prior to booking and did not see anything about the range and chipping greens being closed in general or Mondays. Arrived an hour early and told range was closed. Girl working the desk was not knowledgeable. Had to ask the guys in the back office. Her line of questions also didn’t flow and offered no directions to the first hole, grille, or anything golf related. Asked if I was a member after I told her I booked GolfNow. Told me to pay after seeing my GolfNow reservation. Then asked if it was my first time but didn’t offer any direction or guidance.
Bathrooms are filthy, sink faucets need replacement, and a little brightening up. If there was a grille I have no idea how to access it. No cart girl. Two fives ones of members in front of us with their own carts. One was a complete dbag. Lady Starter was nice and allowed us off early. Get rid of the cart agreement— add the verbiage to the tee booking. Very cheap and petty.
Beautiful golf course
This is how you treat golfers who are paying money to play ur course from the moment I showed up everything was top notch the bartender that I asked where the clubhouse was she stopped what she was doing and actually walked me to the club house(which was only a few feet away) once I got on the course the conditions were really good even though it was raining but then it started lightening I tried to wait cause I knew I wouldn’t get a rain check cause I booked on tee off but when I told them I’m from out of town they gave me a rain check then scheduled me a tee time for the next day when I showed up it was packed(Sunday) so they spent a while trying to find me a group the even asked if I wanted to play with a 2 3 or 4 person group I said I’ll go off by myself the starter told the group before I got there that if I catch up with them to either let me threw or let me join the course dried out really quickly and it was 90 degrees the course was in excellent shape greens were perfect and the elevation changes were the best feature the course flowed so perfect (I think I like this one better than the Pine their other course) thank you Diamondhead for treating me like a real customer instead of trying rush me off and get me done as soon as as possible THIS is how you treat people
Bayou bub
The pine is a nice course but play the cardinal. Diamond head is a 1st class property
Play it!
I played the cardinal and the pines course, both are in great shape. The cardinal is the nicest layout of the two
