Decent little exec course for some exercise short game practice!
Best executive course around
Usually can finish a round in 3 hours. Great Value and easily the best executive course around town
A darling little course
Great conditions with slower play than expected. Challenging greens and a few fun par 4s keep you on your toes.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, DIDNT EVEN GET TO PLAY
Worst experience I’ve ever had and we didn’t even make it past the parking lot! As soon as I parked and stepped out of the van, a guy (who later I learned was the manager I guess) pulled up behind me in a golf cart asked me “Are you here to play golf?” I replied yes and as soon as my wife and two daughters stepped out he immediately questioned how old the kids were. I responded by asking if there was a problem because he seemed unusually into our business. He proceeded to tell me that my younger daughter was not allowed on the premises because she was under the age of 6. I asked why and he said that she’s a liability on the course and in the cart. I responded questioning why can’t we just sign a liability waiver? He said that’s just the rules sorry you can go ahead and cancel your round if you need to.
My issue is nowhere on their website or on GolfNow do they have this policy. They have a little sign at the pro shop desk but we wasted the entire afternoon only to not get a chance to play. Never had any issues with kids at other courses…all of them you have to sign liability waivers when using the carts. Looks like there’s other reviews with similar experiences. Not sure why people support these types of businesses. My money won’t ever be going to this course.
Great executive course was one major flaw.
Tee boxes. Almost no grass between tee markers and most were not level. You were hitting tee shots off sand with sidehill lies. This could be a model executive course it’s tee boxes were in good shape and level.
Should Have Brought My Bicycling Helmet
Pace of play was absolutely terrible! Came close to getting hit at least 4 times. Staff lets group of 5's go out. Understand you have to punch the greens but sand was typical San Diego hardpan. Would like to compliment the Marshall and the gentleman at the pro shop. Both were very friendly and courteous.

Grassless T-Boxes
The t-boxes were in dismal condition. No grass on any of them. I've never seen it this bad.
Great greens and pace
Executive course with great greens and improved bunkers tee boxes need some care, but an overall good experience. A bit under 3 hours walking. Nice Saturday morning fun round
