Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course

I always enjoy playing here every once in a while and a great course for beginners. I only have one minor issue and that is that the greens this last time, need to be upkept better…divots are not being repaired by golfers or the course crew. The gentleman at the pro shop (dont know his name) on 9-4-2023 is very pleasant and nice to all.

the greens were rolling great and the entire course was in spectacular condition….particularly considering the recent storm (Hilary). The course drained well and only the bunkers showed signs of the recent rain. But I never hit into a bunker so I’m judging by what I saw. Tee off was 7:40 and “on time”.. I played with two other golfers and we finished in under three hours.. I think 2hr45min.. Not bad.

Just an oddball set of groups in front.

We 3 slow moving senior women two groups in front and a group of 4 that became 2 when the just learning women with them had some sort of medical emergency and left after the 4th hole.

We were playing as a twosomes because the people we were paired had not checked in and the group that was supposed to go before us was late, so we got bumped up 10 minutes

We wound hole 5 twice and the 11th twice.

Played 2 or 3 balls on 12. Took 10 minutes practicing chipping and putting. Looked up after 14 or 15 realized that the twosome ahead of us had quit.

We still caught the very slow women on 18.

Slow, but we were always 2 holes ahead so we got a lot of practice in. That was cool

Great, friendly staff, course is very fun and plays very fair. Get out and enjoy San Diego’s great weather with som buddies.

Well maintained, only complaint is that Tee boxes seem to be all crowned. Greens are not as fast as you might think, given how nice they are.

Aside from my crappy playing this course was great. Greens were good, pace was excellent. Only complaint might be that bunkers are like concrete.

Very green and healthy everywhere excellent greens. Just a few holes have xxxtra long rough making for some potential blow up holes but good for the price would come back.

This course seemed to attract more experienced golfers than most of the other executive courses I’ve played in the area, so pace of play was better than I usually expect for this type of course. This is the best kept course at this price point. You won’t find a better course in the area for the price

Well maintained course. Only issue is tee boxes need repair and leveling.
