Avoid this course at all costs
This course is not well kept. Greens and fairways in horrible condition. Drainage on course was terrible. Pace of play was AWFUL. Called the club house multiple times and still ended up playing a 5 hour round with waiting to hit shots on every hole. Avoid at all costs.
We are very disappointed to hear about your experience and your thoughts on course conditions. We take pride in providing great course conditions and a great experience. Last week (9/11-9/14), aerification of the greens and tees was completed which is why conditions on the greens were less than ideal. We also have picked up several inches of rain in the past week as well as on Sunday (9/17), which is the date you played your round. We are not making excuses for this, however, we are providing a reasoning as to why course conditions may have not have been up to your standard. As far as pace of play, we would like to hear from you what happened so we can improve our operation. Please contact the Golf Course Manager at 703-450-4655 ext. 105 to discuss this further. -Algonkian Golf Course Manager.

Loved playing
Every holes are pretty long, especially par 3s.
Really loved and enjoyed playing in this course.
The course is not difficult to play, basically straight.
The staff were friendly, too.

Great value
Excellent conditions both fairways and greens. Excellent wildlife interaction. Pace of play among the best in Fairfax County. Our round was 4 hours and 20 minutes with carts, and we had a beginner.

First time playing this mostly flat course. Course is in good condition and Marshall ensures golfers are moving along.
Driving range, chipping and putting greens available as well. Looking forward to a replay!

Course Review
Very nice course especially for the money. Club house needs a little updating and the driving range needs an overhaul as well. Only issue we ran into was pace of play was extremely slow due to a group two in front of us.
