About
Blue Mash Golf Course is the Rockville area's premier public offering. This Arthur Hills design combines links-style, parkland, wooded, and water holes. With such an interesting variety, the course is enjoyable for golfers of all different tastes and skill levels. With no forced carries, it's even a manageable course for beginners and high handicappers, while more seasoned golfers will be challenged by the length from the back tees, the well protected elevated greens, and the plentiful strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on a few holes. The diverse mix of holes makes Blue Mash G.C. a true shotmaker's layout. In addition to the golf course, Blue Marsh is known for having one of the best practice facilities in all of Maryland. It features a 10,000-square-foot putting green, an all-grass-tee driving range, and a separate area for practicing your short game.

A Great Place to Make New Friends
From the customer service--at the check-in, and in having someone give us extra balls--to the course itself, Blue Mash was a GREAT experience. We are definitely playing there again. We must conquer the challenges at the 14, 16, and 18th holes.
great course; disappointing pace of play
course is in great condition ; love the layout
3 hour front nine ; 5.5 hours overall really diminished the overall experience
Not a bad course but
they simply don't enforce pace of play here. it can get severely backed up, like it did yesterday, and there are no Marshalls or attempt to get slow groups to move faster. It was over a 5 hour round yesterday I get that pace is a touchy subject, but for the price, at least make an attempt to keep people moving. The course itself is very nice and in good shape.
Hello, thank you and our apologies for the slow play on the very busy Father's Day weekend Saturday. We of course had player assistants on the course the entire day, and our records indicate that no rounds were over 5 hours, though we did have a few rounds approaching five hours later in the day. We are changing our management procedures to be a bit more strict with slow playing golfers, and we expect improvements in this regard.

Great course
Excellent staff all around, pro shop, restaurant, starter…a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The efficiency of the restaurant at the turn was phenomenal, kept us on pace.

Great course
I’ve played this course many times so I thought I’d finally leave a review. The course is always kept in great conditions and is well designed. The fairways and greens are very well kept. Pace of play is rarely an issue and they usually seem to be monitoring closely. The staff is friendly and overall great experience.

Place sucks
Playing Sunday on the anniversary of my moms death. Got there 20 minutes before tee time and was told to hurry up because they decided to send people out earlier. Try to hurry and pay end up standing around for ten minutes waiting for the golf attended who then also told me I was gonna have to hurry up even though I just stood there while he flirted with the bartender. Charged 100 bucks to see trash all over the course at 8 am. Would say pace of play was fine but we got a message in the cart and had someone come out to yell at us for being 6 minutes slow even though the group behind us was about a hole and half back and never was waiting. They finally started to pick up the trash around 10 am even though at that point it was all over the tee boxes and on the cart path. Id recommend spending your money elsewhere

Time Stamped/ Trash Everywhere.
Sent a ranger out to us on hole 8 to tell us to increase our pace of play. The cart was tracking our pace and we were indeed 6 mins behind pace. On a Sunday at 8am. Not a single group within two holes of us, being in front of us or behind us. Every trash can at every tee box was overflowing with garbage everywhere. At 8am…this isn’t build up from a busy day. It was gross and very disruptive for plant and wildlife. It was literally everywhere. Would of stopped at the turn to get drinks or something but you know, we were 6 mins behind and holding up the people on 6 teebox while we were on 8 green. Couldn’t risk it. Such a shame. Loved the course in the past. Just gotta be better than this for 100 bucks a round.
So sorry about the trash - unacceptable staff lapse with staff calling out and an equipment breakdown. It got lost in the shuffle. We will make sure it doesn't happen again.
