About
Blue Mash Golf Course is the Rockville area's premier public offering. This Arthur Hills design combines links-style, parkland, wooded, and water holes. With such an interesting variety, the course is enjoyable for golfers of all different tastes and skill levels. With no forced carries, it's even a manageable course for beginners and high handicappers, while more seasoned golfers will be challenged by the length from the back tees, the well protected elevated greens, and the plentiful strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on a few holes. The diverse mix of holes makes Blue Mash G.C. a true shotmaker's layout. In addition to the golf course, Blue Marsh is known for having one of the best practice facilities in all of Maryland. It features a 10,000-square-foot putting green, an all-grass-tee driving range, and a separate area for practicing your short game.

Meticulously Maintained
This course is always in absolutely superb condition. I played last on a very hot day after an evening of rain, and while cartpath only was hiring, it was justified in order to preserve the meticulously maintained fairways. It is deceivingly difficult and gets more so later in the season when the brush grass lining men fairways in the rough grows tall. And the practice facilities are just excellent, including a driving range with grass tees always.
Great Course
I enjoy driving up and down the East coast playing golf. I try to play a new course every time. I hit the lottery on this course. It’s a must play. There’s not one bad thing to say about this course. It’s absolutely in great shape. Fairways are nice a plush. Greens and tee boxes are in impeccable condition. The price was right. You will not be disappointed.
Best course in the DMV
Blue Mash is the most fun course around, and twilight rates are a fantastic deal.

Enjoy playing the Mash whenever there's a special occasion or with GolfNow's discounted rate. A bit pricey a part of my weekly rotation of public courses.
Very challenging both on the greens and the fairways. And I believe that is a good thing.

Always a great round

Short On Staff, BUT!
It was clear they were short staffed HOWEVER the guys that ran the course that day went above and beyond to fill the gaps. Conditions were great and the staff was extra friendly. Highly recommended.
First round at Blue Mash
A very good golf course. The day was extremely windy and chilly. But the course was in better than average condition for the round. Greens were very firm. Bunkers were heavy due to rain a night or two prior. Staff friendly and helpful. 19th hole lounge had all you wanted, sandwiches, beer etc. I'd go back. Only concern is a number of holes are wide open without trees. Can get very cold or very hot depending on season. But you won't likely lose balls here.
Solid course, over priced
Blue Mash has always been a solid course. Nice layout, good condition, quick greens, nice practice facility. Used to be $80-100 which was worth it it but it’s not worth $129, especially in March! It’s not the same caliber as other top courses in the area like Whiskey Creek or worthington Manor but they priced similarly. I would play again but only an afternoon round where there is a better value.
