About
Blue Mash Golf Course is the Rockville area's premier public offering. This Arthur Hills design combines links-style, parkland, wooded, and water holes. With such an interesting variety, the course is enjoyable for golfers of all different tastes and skill levels. With no forced carries, it's even a manageable course for beginners and high handicappers, while more seasoned golfers will be challenged by the length from the back tees, the well protected elevated greens, and the plentiful strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on a few holes. The diverse mix of holes makes Blue Mash G.C. a true shotmaker's layout. In addition to the golf course, Blue Marsh is known for having one of the best practice facilities in all of Maryland. It features a 10,000-square-foot putting green, an all-grass-tee driving range, and a separate area for practicing your short game.

Tough course in good shape that plays close to 5 hrs on a weekend morning
We’re told from the moment we check in that pace of play is enforced and yet the back 9 took 2:45 with a 4some 2 holes behind and a Marshall following but doing nothing.
The price has gone up a lot yet the course is the same with worse pace of play
Pace of play
Frost delay, 50 min delay getting out. . Cart path only first 5 holes. Not a big deal. Group in front of us is riding on the fairways from the start. Marshal talks to them on hole 3,,6,8 about pace of play. They were a hole and a half behind the group in front of them holding up the rest of the course! Wouldn’t let let group play through until the marshal held them on on hole 11 according to my friend who stayed to finish the round. Left after 9 holes, had to get on the road to head home.
Always a great day @ Blue Mash. Very accommodating, even though they had a full field event.
Excellent Course
Excellent conditions. Perfect mix of longer holes and shorter scoring holes. Good solid test that allows the occasional offline shot to stay in play.
Challenging with character .
Solid course. Doesn’t seem long off the tee which offers the chance to play conservative but the course has a lot of unique holes with great risk-reward.
Pro shop staff were great…showed up early and the worked hard to get me out early with the locals. Had a great time even though I didnt play well—which usually isn’t the case.
Great course
Always a bit breezy on some holes but still a good time. Lots of recent rain made the course a little soggy but that’s not their fault. Everything was soft and green though!
Best Value around
Played on Friday afternoon and started allowed my son and I to follow a foursome playing in a scramble (thru hole 4) and course was wide open after. Finished in three hours and 15 minutes and found course in excellent shape and fun to play. Would highly recommend this course to avoid golfers in area.
