The Cascade at Gold Mountain Golf Course
About
There are two championship courses available at Gold Mountain Golf Club, the Cascade and the Olympic. Taking advantage of the dramatic Pacific Northwest surroundings, the courses offer stunning views from nearly every hole. If the dramatic elevation changes of the Olympic Course are overly intimidating, the more walkable Cascade Course will be ideal. It may be less challenging but that doesn't mean it's easy. The openness of the golf course is misleading, if you want to score low you will actually need strategic, well placed shots on each hole. There are some tricky holes but overall it's a course that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Ample driving areas frame the tree-lined fairways and the player-friendly greens are open and inviting. Gold Mountain's Cascade Course is often the top choice for tournament play.

This is a well thought out course
The Cascade course is the older of the two 18's but has been well thought out and all of the drainage problems have been resolved. The course is moderately difficult and has some very pretty views.
great course
Course was in great condition, greens ran true, and traps with soft sand.
Forgiving course in great condition in the winter
Still had cart service on a friday afternoon. no marshall on the course - we were on track for a sub 415 round.. then we caught a couple of foursomes that acted as if we were on the pga tour - 1:15 to play the last three holes. Still had a great time and would recommend either course at Golf Mountain.
Good winter course.
Good winter course, quite dry. There was no standing water or muddy spots on the course. Greens are fairly fast and are in very good condition. In the summer they will be fast.
Terrific challenge and value
It was pretty cold but I couldn't have been more pleased with the condition of the course. The fairways were dry and fast, and the greens putted true. The practice facilities are top notch.
Great course and value!
I purchased a tee time on Golf Now for this course for $14 with a cart! It was the best value for a round of golf I have ever enjoyed. The weather was overcast and about 50 degrees or so, but was quite nice. Surprisingly there were not many people on the Cascade course, which I enjoyed. I essentially played 3 balls the entire round and was held up just for about 5 minutes one time. I think I ran into a twosome that was doing the same thing I was. Aside from that, I did not see anybody else and it was a super enjoyable round. Amazing scenery and the course was in wonderful condition. It had rained recently and it was a bit soft near the greens. If you have the opportunity to play this course.... Do it!
Top-rate public course
This is - and has always been - one of the top public courses in the state. Course was in pristine condition and the only drawback was due to weather conditions (exceptionally cold temperatures); namely the ground was frozen so it was difficult to put tee in ground on tee blocks, ditto some of the greens. They had to have a temporary green on hole #17 because that green got no sun.
Great Course, nice views and wildlife.
Awesome course to play at an excellent price. Always worth the money even with a little rain.
Perfect course, perfect price.
I played Gold Mountain (Olympic course) everything was in great shape, even at the end of November, and we had a great time. The only delay was for frost but everything withy the course was perfect.
Course is well maintained & design is great & challenging.
Played the Olympic course. It's great! Design is great & there are no houses. Course is maintained well & great challenges.
Soggy
What do you expect after a few days of heavy rain.
A challenging but beautiful course
I played the Olympic course and it was phenomenal. The fairways were lush and the greens were in great shape. It has quite a few hills so I would recommend a cart. The staff was very friendly and helpful
Late Season
GolfNow had an extremely low rate that made it worth it. The greens were recently punched and sanded as to be expected in October. Not crowded and the round went fast.
This is a fun course play.
For a sister course to Olympic, Cascade is a great course of its own. True rolling greens with different challenges on each hole. Course is greeen with mid length rough.
Perfect Conditions
The course is always in great Condition and the staff are
Very curious and on the ball.
I would always recommend both of there courses.
Thanks again.
Great combination of beautiful layout with challenging holes.
We really enjoyed playing here! The course has a gorgeous (and at times challenging!) layout, and we even saw a bald eagle as we were playing. That was a first!
Superb course and value - well worth some extra effort to get there!
Olympic offers 18 individually memorable holes of fun golf which are always well woth the trip!
One of the best courses in the Pacific Northwest
Both the Olympic and its sister course the Cascade are always
in great shape, challenging and well managed.Their practice facilities are particularly good.
A great experience for the money!
