The Cascade at Gold Mountain Golf Course

About
There are two championship courses available at Gold Mountain Golf Club, the Cascade and the Olympic. Taking advantage of the dramatic Pacific Northwest surroundings, the courses offer stunning views from nearly every hole. If the dramatic elevation changes of the Olympic Course are overly intimidating, the more walkable Cascade Course will be ideal. It may be less challenging but that doesn't mean it's easy. The openness of the golf course is misleading, if you want to score low you will actually need strategic, well placed shots on each hole. There are some tricky holes but overall it's a course that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Ample driving areas frame the tree-lined fairways and the player-friendly greens are open and inviting. Gold Mountain's Cascade Course is often the top choice for tournament play.

Can't Beat It
Either Gold Mtn. course is a good deal at full price but we played the Cascade for about $26 each and got a replay on the Olympic for $15! Included power carts. You just "Can't Beat It".
nice course
i have played this course for years would recommend to anyone the course can be played by anyone
Beautiful course
Fun course to play, especially in the sunshine. Will play again. Great staff and lots of friendly fellow golfers.
Very nice course!
The Cascade course was very well maintained and in great condition. It is a fairly easy setup so you will score well. Not nearly as unique as the Olympic Course but was a fun round.
Outstanding and outstanding
Terrific day of golf look forward to the next round.
Beautiful day at Gold Mt
The course was in great shape, especially after all the rain we've had. I've played several other courses in this area aver the past week and they have been very wet. The Cascade course was much drier, more like late Spring, not the end of Winter. The GolfNow Hot Deal for my 18 hole round with a cart was an amazing price. Great value on a beautiful course.
Rain or shine
My son and I have played Cascade many times; we have had a lot of rain this week but the course was in great shape; especially the greens.
Tee time at 7:30; walked with no waiting, 3 1/2 hours....good times.
Great Course
Fair and challenging. Good condition and staff. Practice area above average
Shucks, its February folks
Course was in pretty good condition for February - despite a lot of recent rain. It rained (and Blew) a lot during the front 9 but cleared up nicely by the turn to broken clouds. However, we had a sixsum - that's right a sixsum (being on more than the dreaded fivesome) in front of us. Fortunately, they let us play through at #6. How the heck can they let a group like that out? That said, the greens were a little slow from the rain and the bunkers were REALLY wet - but there were no puddles in the traps. The tee boxes were wet enough to squeeze water out of the ground when taking your stance but not enough to be muddy. Lots of other courses are miserable at this time of year from the constant rain. All in all, we had a great time - just remember, yer not gonna get any roll at all.....
sweet-swing
A rainy day, it did Not stop raining thru our 18 holes, pro shop was great! help was great! course was in great condition for the amount of rain coming down! we will be back next week!
Very nice course.
Happened to find a beautiful day with dry conditions. Greens have been recently punched and still filling in, but overall the course was in great shape. Lots of hills so may influence your decision to walk or ride. We will be back again.
GREAT VALUE
Great day on a Great course. Two Temp Greens than we were not informed about, but it was cold and the ground was hard.
Wet & Wonderful
Up in the NW from California.... typical November weather .. overcast with sun breaks and rain off and on plus some wind. Course condition great .. good drainage, no slop. Greens very nice ... putting true. Bunkers wet, but no puddles... chipouts average. Cascade has wide fairways and minimal gorst.... allowing for a fun round of golf. This was a nice change from my boring California blue sky, sunshine and 65 degree ......... ! Would definitely recommend this golf course.
Winter Golf
Not sure when greens were aerated but still just a little bumpy. Course still in fine shape given the leaves and pine needles. Played 2 balls as a single on back nine them made the turn amd paired up with another single and he played 2 balls as well. 18 still took less than 4 hrs walking.
Best in the Northwest!!:)
Without a doubt Gold Mountain is the best value and course conditions in Washington. Make the trip to the Kitsap Peninsula its worth the drive!
Compares to a well maintained municiple course.
Not quite to the standards of the Olympic course. Some interesting holes. Was in good shape for October golf. Hit it straight or you're in the woods.
Wonderful course conditions given recent rainfall
Great day. Only complaint was there was no on course snack cart. That was disappointing.
Washington States premiere public golf facility.
Gold Mountain is always a treat. Each time I've played either course, it's been time well spent getting there from Seattle. I think both courses appeal to golfers of all skill levels and the facility and staff are first class. the only weird thing with booking through GolfNow was the price was exactly the same as if we would have made a time directly with Gold Mountain. Not much point to using this service.
This course has great greens.
Great course fast pace. Greens were in great shape. Beautiful public course.
