About
Designed by Rees Jones, Broad Run Golfer's Club boasts one of the best layouts in the area. The course sprawls across over 370 acres of rolling hills countryside. The dramatic elevations are definitely not something you would expect from a golf course that is conveniently situated so close to downtown Philadelphia. The elevated tees feel as though they're in the clouds and mature trees frame most of the holes. There are hazards lurking throughout the golf course including swampy marshlands and tall, dense grasses that are all just waiting to swallow errant shots. It is a challenging layout no doubt but it is made more player friendly with generous fairways and Jones was also light on the bunkering. One of the most difficult and scenic holes is the par-5 15th. This hole plays uphill, featuring a blind tee shot to a plateau green surrounded by trees.

Great course
Course was in great shape except for the traps. I’m thinking due to lateness of the season maintenance of traps has stopped.
The course personnel were extremely friendly as usual. This is only my third time playing Broad Run and each tie out I’m enjoying the course more.
Fantastic
This course is fantastic . Its a great course I really enjoyed the day. Friendly personal. Course in great condition. My observation is that some golfers are really not great golfers for this type of course. The pace on the back nine could have been faster. Two groups in front of us kept losing balls and spending long time looking in the woods for the balls.
Good test
A real good test of golf. Very good layout with very good conditions. Worth my 1 1/4 hour drive and my $. I would play here more often if it were closer.
Picturesque Fall Golf
We played a round yesterday in beautiful fall sunshine. Course was very well maintained compared to most other local courses. Rolling hills and amazing undulation on 75% of the holes. This place is unique, over 18 holes only 2 fairways run next too each other but you wouldn't know. This give each hole an individual personality. I could play this course for decades and never get bored. Nice that the course is split from front and back 9, 10min turnarounds welcomes a break and a snack. Love this place - highly recommended.
Beautiful challenge
A beautiful course that really takes advantage of the landscape and terrain throughout. Really unique holes and design, a lot of fun. You get a great mix of challenging par 3s and long par 5s with some fun short par 3s, a driveable par 4, and attackable par 5s. Definitely breaks out of the cookie cutter mold that you see at a lot of other southeast PA public courses. The major downside is that it's really pricey - with the golf "boom" going strong, they are clearly taking advantage of what they can charge the market. Would definitely recommend that everyone check it out at least once, it's at least worth playing once or twice a year, even at the current prices.

Course is gorgeous, greens were perfect but fast!
Beautiful, challenging, but pricey
Cost 110 to play which felt a little steep. Otherwise I loved the course and the views. Well kept. Challenging. Lots of fun
Excellent Public Course
Broad Run architecture was excellent. Some truly amazing views and elevation changes. Well worth the money we spent.
