Nice conditions
Got out early. Fairway and greens nice shape. Greens were fast.
Good Enough
Ignore the rough and surrounding, non-playing areas of the course. Fairways and greens were more than playable and that is all I ask.
Challenging, greens in very good shape.
I've played this course several times over 5 seasons....the greens are in very nice shape....the fairways ok, given they're closing in a few weeks for the summer. It's a very nice layout and is challenging for all skill levels......I played from the green tees @ 6600 yards....and it's a test....but worth the effort. The staff is very good....and although I haven't eaten there this time....the new restaurant is very good. I'll be back!!
Golf Shop
Mr Frank Trekell was very good to us and we were about 20 minutes late. We thanked him.
Course was in great shape greens were true We will go back again and hopefully very soon
Good Layout
Interesting layout with some length, numerous dogleg par 4 & 5's. No sand traps on the course, water in play on 2 holes, not overly difficult if you keep in in the grass. Par 3's are not pushovers. Errant shots can be difficult to recover - a lot of trees, rocky areas, hard pan dirt. Conditions were pretty good - some brown areas in the fairways, and some firm lies, but most greens were large and in very good shape - not marked up, feature some undulations, and roll pretty true. Pace was excellent for Friday PM, and well worth the twilight green fees.
Great
San Miguel course is fun to play. Staff and cost wore great.
Great Greens
Starting with tee boxes lack of grass. Fairways a little better. not many people made for fast round.
Snowbirds Prospective
Good desert course-greens were good-fairways good but lots of desert-oh well played from the back tees and will certainly play it again! Good value and great pace of play--staff very friendly!
