Worst Conditions Ever
I have played Dave White for years and although never a superb course it was usually in OK shape with grass in the fairways and OK greens. I had not played it for several years and this is the worst I have ever seen it or any course for that matter. Hardly any grass in any of the fairways. It was so unbelievably bad, I was shocked. Sad it has gotten that out of hand. Greens were OK is the only positive. .
Who is Dave White?
Inexpensive golf outing, very relaxed, good people. Course was dry but very playable.
Greens OK
Greens OK the rest of the course was in bad condition. Non existent fairways, virtually no grass and areas around greens were bare or muddy and near bare.
Value
Greens are in great shape, although speed varied from green to green.
3 hour round was fantastic.
Ground squirrels are taking over and my guess very hard to control.
Mosquitoes ruined the day. The greens were a bit problematic but overall it was good.
Fairways short and sparce
Fairways need to grow some (especially in spots where there is no grass!). Greens are good though.
Very disappointed
Course conditions were pathetic! Greens were ok but what there was of fairways was very patchy! We felt like we were golfing on a desert area that was just cleared of cactus.
Good place to play
The course is in good shape. The staff is great and the prices are very reasonable. Pace of play was great even though we started at almost 2:00.
Had fun
Despite waiting at several tee boxes due to a crowded course it was an enjoyable experience. Wide fairways with greens in good condition met my expectations. Will play again likely in May - June when it's less crowded.
Improvements?
Kept reading reviews about how much this course has improved, I didn't see that. Thankfully I only paid $32. Won't be back.
