Rondout Golf Club

Played the course in early November and it was in nice condition. The greens were a bit hairy but with winter coming they cannot be cut. While we were playing a maintenance guy drove out to blow leaves off the green. This is a nice course and I will play here again next year. Great value as well.

Excellent elevation changes and playing in the fall with the leaves changing is special. Really nice course.

Rondout provides a scenic 18 holes. Playing the white tees is moderate to very challenging. There is lots of water, so bring some extra balls! Number 5 is a par 3 that you need to hit well or you will be in the water.
We had a beautiful day and everyone we met was friendly. We had dinner at the club restaurant . The service was very good and the food was good. The view from the deck was exceptional.
Great value using Golfnow.

Great deal from golfnow. Two of us Played at 1:32 PM friday and the total bill was 25 with cart. The greens needed better care but the course was fun.

Great value for the price. Course in great shape a few greens were recently acierated.

We played on a long weekend Monday. There was league tournament in progress and a big storm that interrupted play but the staff accommodated us. Facilities were average for a public course.

I would go back and play again.

A rare day off afforded us the opportunity to enjoy a unhurried and relaxing day of golf. A rather dismal weather forecast never arrived and we enjoyed the course almost to ourselves. One par three was under repair, so we played the next par three twice. The usual risk/reward holes were as challangeing as ever!

Visoted on a Monday afternoon and were only few golfers out on the course. Some of the Tee boxes and greens were showing the sign of wear but fairways and rough were maintained. well. The Golfnow deal was a great deal, so despite some work being needed, we still enjoyed a great day of golf at a grat price. .

good course with a lot of water and great mountain views. Did not get a great vibe from the person in the club house. He was a little stand off ish.

I played the course without a GPS so it was more challenging due to the fact that it was difficult to find exact yardage on about 50% of shots. Fairways were well maintained but I could still see the damage done by recent heavy rains to the cart paths. Taking that into consideration the course was in very good shape. Some greens showed evidence of water damage around the edges but rolled fairly true. Pace would have been better if we didn't have a grandfather with his wife and two grandsons slowing down play (they were taking 30 to 40 minutes to play a par 3). I had to skip a hole to play through. After that pace was rather quick. My only advice would be to make sure you stay in the fairway. My playing partner lost 3 balls that we watched land but could not find. He found 4 other balls so this must have been a problem for those in front of us also. All in all this a good course that could be great if not for the 5 inches of rain in one day two weeks ago. I will be returning especially with the great discounts on Golfnow.

Staff was great - teed off at tee time without waiting - pace of play was excellent - course was in good condition -
Did find many unrepaired ball makes on the greens - no sand for repairing divots on tee box or in cart for fairways. Would play course again.

Greens are good but need some work. Mostly from no ball mark repair from players. Good and pretty course for a reasonable rate.

I love this course. The views are breathtaking. The first and tenth tees are my favorites, hitting the ball from atop the tops of the mountain.

was paired up with a nice couple got to first hole and had a great view of the Catskill mountains played the course at a nice pace a little over 4 hours not many level greens but they were in very good condition

course had fantastic views of hudson valley mts while playing. greens were hard and fast but mostly true. holes were well laid out and kept your interest, no cookie cutter course. holes were close together but never felt crowded. really a hidden gem.

Course played well. Course usually under water but nice to see it was dry and very playable. Greens good but not great. Played with two 1st timers and they are now drinking the golf kool aid.
