Always in great condition
Challenging, but very nice layout. Greens are great shape as usual. Highly recommended for the money.

Visited my son, who is in the USAF, in the Birmingham area. I looked on GolfNow and saw the ratings for this course and I booked an afternoon round. We got there early and had lunch, the food was great. Then the cost had all the amenities for a good warm up. The course is the start of the show. The course was well maintained and the views awesome. I would recommend this course for all levels of play. I will be back. Thank you, Ballentrae GC.
Course was fine..Golf Now cust. Svc terrible
Tried to contact a person all day to no avail. Links on line led to dead end or a computer that could not answer anything .
My tee time was for 4 but 2 of my players were no shows due to illness. .
I payed for 4 and since only two played it was expensive.
No response from Golf Now. The course said to let them know if this was resolved. Only Golf Now when you reserve through them can do anything.
Use caution before reserving anything with GN.
Fun time
Course was in excellent condition. Greens were a little on the firm side, but putted great.
The GPS in the cart doesn't work as it should. It will show a overview of the holes but no distances at all, this is the second time I've seen it here this year. Also we never saw a beverage cart on the back nine and all the water coolers were empty when we got to them, luckily they caught us with new coolers on the last couple holes.
Patience
Greens had been aerated but still pretty good. Par 5's on front nine are difficult, especially #2. Greens have many hills/slopes in them, don't get on the wrong side of the hole. #14 is a ridiculously tough par 3 with water on right, huge bunker on left, green with huge hump in middle. Bogey is a good score on this hole. Everything slopes to the right towards the water. Only a sadist would design a hole like this.
Wow
Fantastic layout, excellent greens fairway are like carpet the only issue are the tee boxes on some holes and Mark the starter is super friendly.. 100 percent recommend.
Being from Fl-
What a different experience from what I’m used to playing on in fl. All the golfers I got joined up with were super friendly. The course was great and every hole had amazing views and I had a great time.
Nice play on Easter
Course in great shape. Usually not a weekend golfer but this was a great deal and play pace was wonderful
