Ballantrae Golf Club

Course was in great shape and play for a Sunday afternoon wasn’t too bad. Played as a twosome in 4:15 hrs. Cart girl was very friendly and made many rounds while we played. Definitely will be going back with my buddies!

Course was in good shape. Got paired up with a young couple. Having a great round, but 4 holes in (slow play on the course) a terrible storm came and shut the course down. Hope to return soon!

I don’t really review courses much, but this course is 100% legit! The course conditions are phenomenal. The staff was friendly and the layout was to die for! I will be playing this course again sooner than later.

Thought the course was a B. The technology in the cart was laughable. No yardage just a picture of the hole. Greens were slow.

Outstanding - I don’t play here often but every time I have played here it’s always in perfect conditions. Looking fwd to my next trip! 😎👍

My favorite course to play in Hoover. The scenic and picturesque views are breathtaking. The course is friendly to mediocre and newer golfers. The fairways and greens are immaculate. The only negative was pace of play because a walker in front of us held up about 4 straight groups.

Challenging, but very nice layout. Greens are great shape as usual. Highly recommended for the money.

Visited my son, who is in the USAF, in the Birmingham area. I looked on GolfNow and saw the ratings for this course and I booked an afternoon round. We got there early and had lunch, the food was great. Then the cost had all the amenities for a good warm up. The course is the start of the show. The course was well maintained and the views awesome. I would recommend this course for all levels of play. I will be back. Thank you, Ballentrae GC.
