Twisted Dune Golf Club
About
The golf course at the Twisted Dune Golf Club is a public, 18-hole course that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. Located right on the Jersey Shore, Twisted Dune Golf Club is popular for it's beautiful views and challenging game. The deep ravines and grassy hills provide picturesque scenery and they also create interesting hazards for a good game.
Twisted Dune Golf Club lives up to his name with its twisting links-style layout, elevation changes, and rolling fairways. The golf course has par-5 holes that stretch over 500 yards as well as several par-4's and par-3's. The course also has wide fairways and large greens of bent grass.

Excellent Course
A must on your golf course list , this course reminds me of courses down south , nice practice green , range and staff is more then friendly..
4.7.18 - Course in Good Shape
Play it before they punch the greens in a few weeks.
Great Course
Played this course today and had a great time. Enjoyed the course layout and the condition considering the time of year. Will definitely play again during the summer when the weather is better. A must play if commig to Atlantic City area.
Course in great shape
We played on st Patty’s day staff was very friendly ,course was in awesome shape, especially the fairways and greens.
A Must Play...
...at the Jersey Shore. Course was good throughout except the bunkers. Many filled with water. Still worth a play.
Fun Course
Great course to play. Went on a warm December day (56 degrees) on the day after a huge rainstorm. Holes 13-14 were closed and we were expecting that due to notification on the GolfNow app and the fact that we have had a lot of rain this summer/fall season.
Needless to say, I had a great time out there with my buddy who is a local. This is my first time playing any course in the AC area and it was a lot of fun. The head PGA professional was there to greet us and talked a little about the courses and the area. Great local knowledge and advice on other courses to try for our next round. We booked the 9:15 tee time and we were able to get out earlier and set the pace for the day. Despite the heavy rains, the course was in great shape...a little soft in places but it dried out as the day went on. Due to holes 13-14 being closed, we were told to play holes 1-2 again to get a full round it.
Course was fairly challenging, but not as unforgiving as some other links-style courses that I have played. You could play driver on almost every hole and the fairways were wide enough that as long as you hit it fairly straight you'd be fine. It got a little predictable after a while, but I had a good time learning my way around this course. Would definitely play again. Heard it could be a little steep in the prime golf season (especially since it's a resort area I can understand why) But the course is worth it for a slurge here or there. This was a fantastic deal at $39 with cart included.
Always a challenge
Not raining, but wet, so cart path only.
A 45 degree winter day. All things considered, the course was in really great shape. Visually stimulating and a fun, challenging course. It is well worth the hour plus drive for me to play here.
Course is great and interesting. We were surprised how wet it was with no rain in a few days. It was Cart Path Only which was an added challenge.
great price for this course
Always enjoy this course but it was unfortunately after a storm and very wet as expected.
One of my favorites
I have played this course a hand full of times and every time it’s a treat.. one of my favorite courses in the area
very very wet
Very very very wet
Sand trap was almost all full of water
Car path was horrible
fairway was very wet
green was ok
Slow play, poor conditions
First let me say that rain has made this course more different & recent aeration hampers ones ability to score.
However, that’s no excuse to not cut and/or role the greens on the weekend.
Better courses, at least those that claim to be better do that every day & they change the cups.
The greens were unkempt. Not just from players but by the management.
The bunkers (there are a lot here) need to be upgraded. They were muddy, not raked & full of stones. (Tire tracks in many)
The tee boxes were in good shape.
There was a ranger but he wouldn’t push the slow groups in front of us which led to the group be hind us to hit into us.
That’s frustrating. I found myself rushing shots which doesn’t make for a good round.
Twisted Dunes is a good layout & a very good test of golf.
It plays long when it’s wet & can be a bear in the wind.
Overall it was a beautiful day, but would have been better if the place was better kept & the ranger closed the 2 hole gap two groups in front of us.
Dunes
Nice course - fun to play - needs better hole markers but good day
Course staff is easy to work with and flexible and friendly.
Course layout is very interesting.
