Blue Heron Pines Golf Club
About
The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club consists of two award-winning courses called the East and the West. Located 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, these public golf courses provide a challenging game and have been touted by many New Jersey publications as the best 18-hole course on the Jersey Shore.
Each golf course had a different designer so they do have some differences. The West Course is relatively flat with narrow fairways and fast greens. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The East Course on the other hand features wide fairways and difficult bunkers. The East Course also follows a links-style layout and is meant to be played fast and firm. For those who want to play the courses but aren't at the top of their game yet, the club offers golf instruction.

Blue Heron
Amazing clubhouse with driving range and putting green located directly adjacent, friendly accommodating staff, course is in great shape, greens are pristine.
Great place
Great round, not my score but Blue Heron, first time there and it was outstanding. Wide open holes, nice layout. Highly recommend
Not the best conditions for 75 a round
dirt Hard pan lies everywhere even in the fairways. rocks in the sand traps. rocks on the greens from the sand traps. fungus greens..spotty in places roll like a living room carpet. greenskeepers in fairways and tee boxes while you tee off at noon to 1 pm (no rain that morning). i payed 15 dollars less to play seaview last week which is hosting lpga tour events later in the month. the price is not justified for blue heron. will not be back
Good layout, variety of conditions
We like it! Spring golf is always hit or miss. This wasn't a home run but it was as expected given the late frost and lack of rain. We're going back in mid-May to see if we can stretch the double into an 8nside the park!
Disappointed
Although I realize it's extremely early in the season I was disappointed in the course conditions. The greens were aerated, this should have been noted prior to booking.. Overall in comparison to other Jaworski courses this one condition wise is more like to Valleybrook than to Running Deer.
enjoyable round
it was a pleasure to play here in a warm Saturday in March. the staff was very friendly. course conditions acceptable for the time of year. just a nice pleasant day
disappointed returnee
Horrible golf course conditions. Should be closed down.
Beautifully maintained tee boxes, fairways, and greens
Played with a group of my buddies and had a really great day. The course is well maintained and the staff is right on the money. Looking forward to going back soon.
slow but good
it was one of the best courses I have played we enjoyed very much and the people who were playing with us were very nice.
problem was every hole we had to wait due to too many slow playing groups and young players who had no patience and they were hitting the balls toward us even we were just playing to get to next hole.
I sincerely hope the guys should learn the manners and enjoy the game.
Nice layout but challenged conditions.
Won't be back. Worst greens I've played this year. Slow, mixture of several grasses.. basically felt like fairway grass . This used to be a top conditioned golf course. I cried.
Great course, horrendous pace of play
Great layout with good character! However, at five hours and 15 minutes it was just too painful and spoiled what should have been a good day with friends. Course Marshall was busy picking up trash rather than moving slow players along and the pro shop didn’t care to hear concerns at all. Sign said they expected four hours and 10 minutes for 18 holes but no one cared. Too bad.
Bad conditions
Very disappointing to see how bad the greens are in this course. It’s my favorite place to play out of this whole area played here plenty of times but this was the worst shape I have ever seen this course
