Bad policies
For. 69 year old grandparent with medical issues to watch his grandson play golf, he and a parent with a recent hip replacement can not get a cart with plenty of extra carts and offering to pay for a round of golf they still cannot get a cart. All other courses allow it, often free cart rentals. But not Druids Glen. The poor kids at the front desk probably won’t be protected by Druids Glen in a lawsuit. Poor management policies, very short sighted.
Disabled and dissatisfied
I am physically disabled. I am able to play, but I need a cart and need to be able to drive close to my ball in order to play. I asked about cart restrictions before my round and told them I was disabled. They told me I would be fine and could drive the cart where needed (not on the greens or tee boxes, of course).
A couple holes into the game and I find out that this isn't true. They have GPS lockouts on the carts that were preventing me from being able to drive the cart where I needed. The first par 3 was restricted to cart path only. I called into the clubhouse and asked for them to disable this on my cart (common practice at other courses with GPS enabled carts). They refused. I happened to be playing with an employee of the course. He also tried to convince them to help me out. They refused.
The end result. I'm in a lot of pain. Our group was slow because of having to wait for me to walk. And, a poor review.
When they refused to unlock my cart, I could've gone back and asked for a refund. I had driven over an hour to play this round and it was going to be my last chance to play here before they punch the greens. I chose to finish, and that is on me.
If you have mobility issues, think twice before booking your tee time.
Great end of season round
Course was in great shape. Weather turned out great, pace was a bit slow even though the pace monitor always said we were 10-15 minutes ahead.
Layout was fun and challenging.
Challenging Layout
Good variation of hole layouts.
Good speed on greens and thought-provoking slopes.
A tough challenge from all tee boxes including white-tees.
Not what it used to be!
All I can say is it should not take 3hrs to play 11 holes. I’m out of there.
The Course is a very good tract
First time playing Druid’s Glen in about 5 years. The course is in very good condition and is being watered extensively throughout. Very lush fairways and excellent tee boxes. The greens weren’t extremely fast but fairly tricky to read. Unless you are younger (than me) & in good shape, this is a very tough walk with large gaps in between a few holes. Very good & challenging layout. However, it’s a little too pricey for me to play on a regular basis.
I’ve this course
Beautiful! Love water and sand bunker view. Grass maintenance very well too! Will be back whenever have better price
Love the track but …
Great and fun layout, challenging from the tips. Whatever you do stay out of the “sand”. Looks like they’ve pulled it from the local black diamond quarry. Not sure how they made it so appealing with the rake job but just below the surface are nickel and quarter sized wedge eaters. Take an unplayable and save your equipment, sheesh.
Great course
We had a great time on this challenging course. There’s an outdoor eating area to watch folks finishing 18. Great course and then excellent food with a cold beer- superb!

Thank you so much for the great review. We're thrilled you enjoyed both the course and our outdoor dining area, and we hope to see you again soon at Druids Glen Golf Club!
Course feedback
Course is fine and greens were in good shape. Only big complaint is that bunkers are not at the same level. Lots of too big stones are in bunkers. Bunkers need to have total rebuild.
