Really nice conditions and layout. Great value!
I consider this an A-tier course! Not quite S-tier, but who needs all that! It was really well maintained with a challenging (but fair) layout despite not being extremely long.
Keep up the good work at Refuge!
Didn’t refund me
I had previously booked the time online here and was ready to golf. Then all of a sudden a massive rain storm hit so I called up and they gave me an option of rain check or a refund. I chose the refund as I didn’t have any open days coming up to use the rain check and they told me it would take just a few business days. It’s been over two weeks now and I have not received any refund and I am very displeased.
5 hour round behind a very slow group pace of play not enforced. Maintenance people oblivious to golfers on the course. When they did notice you , stayed in play and then had the audacity to yell at us when we played a provisional ball.. “ Hey what the h:!! are you guys playing 2 balls”!! Shaking his head 50 yards in front of us in direct line of fire.

Buckle up
Any time you play here its guaranteed a slow round, booked the 6:06 hoping to be a quick round. Started on the back only to get to the front and have 3 groups waiting on the tee box that they sent out.
Nice course!
I found a deal I couldn’t refuse and it was definitely worth the price. Nice course, friendly staff and playing partners. Only downside was the pace was a bit slow, not too bad though.
The refuge golf course conditions were fabulous. Only thing that I didn’t care for were the amount of deer flies that were constantly bothering us from whole number one all day long.
Always a fun challenge
Love this course! It’s laid out with plenty of fun and challenge! Greens have more break than you think!
Slow Play
There are no rangers to keep pace of play. Five hour rounds are no fun.
Exaggeration... there are no 5-hour rounds (except at the Minneapolis city courses) at The Ponds or ANYWHERE in outstate Minnesota. You want to complain about long rounds, try southern California. 6-hour round if you can get on and you're going to shut your mouth about it too.
Beautiful course
Great course. Definitely difficult, but I like challenging nice courses. The greens were a little burnt or maybe shaved too close in a few parts. They were actually pretty forgiving on the front. Good time. Staff was very welcoming.
You need to respect the maintenance crew at all times. You also need to learn respect... PERIOD. You sound like another entitled Gen-Z'r
