The pace of play was horrible , which was such a bummer because we were so excited to play here. We waited on every hole . There was times we were backed up 3 groups. The one bathroom on the course was disgusting.

Well maintained
Had a ton of fun playing as a group of 4. Surprisingly caught a bottleneck for last 4 holes behind two groups but enjoyed the pause during the heat. Cart service on point, visited probably every 3-4 holes. Only negative was that the golf now good price was only for 3 golfers not the entire group of 4.

Pace of play
Seems like the pace is getting slower and slower. Hole 6 front 9 had 4 groups of 4-5 skipped the rest and went rogue til dusk

Great course and Great staff
I play this course as often as I can. The staff are awesome and extremely helpful. Josh the course Pro is a great guy. The rest of the staff are the same. Everyone is helpful and easy to talk to. The course is in great shape. Its challenging but has a great set up.

This place is legit!!
If you haven't played this course, you need to...
Not certain how busy this course actually is, but it always seems like I'm the only one playing...love that!!
Great views, layout and always in primo condition. Also lots of options for tee boxes for every skill level...definitely a premium public course for a very reasonable price...and great practice area! Range, giant practice green, and practice bunker. Can't think of 1 thing this place is missing...

I loved this course!
This was my first time playing the Refuge, and I was highly impressed! There’s a large clubhouse with all the amenities you could ask for. The golf carts had GPS, which was very helpful for a first-timer. The course layout was phenomenal and was a host to a plethora of shots. The scenic view was also beautiful, including water shots and rolling hills. I gave this course the two thumbs up to anyone contemplating playing here!

Looking good for 2023
It’s early season MN, so as expected greens still wet and slower, but rolling true, fairways not cut tight yet, but plenty of grass. With that said, it looks to be set up nicely for 2023.
We’ll packed round on a weekday..
This is a challenging golf course, with emphasis on accuracy. Keep it on the short grass!

A must play.
I travel to Minnesota every summer. I play here everytime. I'm a single digit handicap that loves a great challenge. This is the best bang for your buck!!!!

The course is challenging and beautiful, especially the trips between holes.
