Pretty course, BUT
This was our second time playing this course. Loved the course and its setting but our first time round we were waiting at every tee box so we were hesitant to try it again. Gave it another chance and same results! By the 3rd hole our 4-some is waiting for the group ahead of us and before long that group is waiting for the group in front of them. A 5-hour round with everyone waiting is not fun, no matter how pretty the course is.

Great Course for every golfer
Played this course 3 times now. It will challenge your game or you can step up a tee box and play a driver wedge game. 95% of this course is first rate. the 8 minute tee times are the downside. Weekdays not so much but Weekends are a different story. I would rather pay a few more dollars for the round.
Don't get me wrong. I will play there again just not on a weekend.

Refuge Golf
The Refuge is a great course. Quite and rustic. Nature abounds you. Watch for ducklings, fawns roaming and of course flying golf balls.
I’m not sure what a “CONNIVENCE FEE” is (????) attached to our reservation or why is it necessary but we do enjoy the course.

Refuge FUN!
Very enjoyable. We had a momma Doe and her two fawns make an appearance on several holes. Trumpeter Swans had their ducklings ner the pond.

Love this course every time I come to visit. I was paired up with a couple of members who play the course often and they were great. It was raining when we started and the course was really wet but I had a great time. Course was in really good shape, some of the par 3 greens had taken a beating but the course overall is really fun. Every time I play here I have a great time. Cart girl visited often and the bar at the turn was quick.
