The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks
About
The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks is touted as the best mountain golf course in Colorado and even one of the best courses in the country. Towering forests of pine and aspen frame the rolling fairways and manicured greens on this scenic layout. The crystal clear creeks and trout-filled lakes are a striking contrast to the lush green of the course and the snow-capped peaks in the distance. The golf course is known for more than its scenery though, its challenging design is a test for all skill levels. The steep-faced bunkers have deeply furrowed edges, which can be tricky but they also serve to contain tee shots that might have an increased carry because of the course's dramatic elevations. There are also water hazards to contend with on several holes.

Need to put some $$ into maintenance
Really disappointed with conditions. I understand the freeze problem wit greens but cart paths and sand traps inconsistencies.
Nice layout, brutal maintenance
Nice piece of property and nice clubhouse but absolutely horrendous conditions. Summer drought etc is not an excuse, as I’ve played 5 courses in area this week and all have been pristine until Raven. Worst 18 hole set of greens I’ve played in my days playing golf. Sand traps let go entirely, rough dead in most areas, many tee boxes destroyed. I would not recommend paying $50 to play it, let alone $120. Tough review I know but very fair, I play a lot of golf at many courses. It’s too bad because the layout is nice.
Greens are in terrible condition
Greens are disease and not taken care of. Fringe around the greens are not as well. Played there at least 5 times before. I would not recommend to anyone driving up from Denver to play.
Great layout, greens poor
Greens bumpy and slow, bunkers overgrown and lacking sand, very surprised at conditions for a very expensive course.
Poorly Maintained Course
While we were advised that there had been Some greens damage due to a late frost, the overall Course was in terrible condition. The bunkers and rough had not been groomed in many weeks (or months). Several bunkers were simply unplayable with overgrowth and mud. The driving range was like hitting in the rough. Other courses provided some monetary consideration, but not here. Do not play this Course!
Love Raven
Such am amazing setting, you can look past some of the deterioration. It looks like it would be really difficult to keep conditions perfect. I wouldn''t want them to be perfect. The Course is just fine and playable the way it is. Greens have some issues but that's life. Love it.
Scenic Course North of Silverthorne
Have played here several times before, most of the time with good results in terms of enjoyment. Layout of the course makes each hole interesting to play, regardless of your level of skill. Several spots on the course were undergoing repair work and some of the greens were a bit "spotty" but overall a good experience.
Excellent Course Views
This was a very nice layout, and I'd like to play it again. Views are very good. Greens were in poor condition, with many bumps and were also very slow. Pace of play was 5 1/2 hours and may have been related to a 4-some ahead of us who seemed to be more interested in drinking than playing golf.
Overpriced for course condition
Fairways and greens were in fair condition. Really slow play, 5 hour round
Vacation Golf
Great mountain course with lots of elevation changes. Greens had been damaged in the spring, so they were not in good shape, but somewhat playable. Enjoyed it and the staff was outgoing and helpful.
Greens extremely rough from winter snow damage
Have been playing this course every few years for past 25 years and it goes downhill every time I visit; greens were barely playable and they didn't even bother to put the hole locations in the good spots; beautiful setting and layout, but very disappointed with course condition - especially the greens
Atrocious Greens
The course is mediocre in about every way possible except for its condition, which is completely unacceptable. If you charge $120, its your responsibility as an operator for the greens to be playable. Golf is not fun when your ball bounces off line within the first 2 feet of a putt. Any putt outside 5 feet was completely chance if it would go in, nothing held a line. Bunkers were very bad, and fairways were just so so. A fair fee for this course would be $45 in its current condition. Either drop the rate or bring the course conditions back to par.
