The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks
About
The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks is touted as the best mountain golf course in Colorado and even one of the best courses in the country. Towering forests of pine and aspen frame the rolling fairways and manicured greens on this scenic layout. The crystal clear creeks and trout-filled lakes are a striking contrast to the lush green of the course and the snow-capped peaks in the distance. The golf course is known for more than its scenery though, its challenging design is a test for all skill levels. The steep-faced bunkers have deeply furrowed edges, which can be tricky but they also serve to contain tee shots that might have an increased carry because of the course's dramatic elevations. There are also water hazards to contend with on several holes.

Course Conditions
The vistas were fantastic. Unfortunately the course conditions were very poor. The fairway bunkers were unplayable due to the weeds and unkempt conditions. The greens were in need of attention.
Beautiful course but needs to be reconditioned.

This course is a must stop for golfers in the vail to Silverthorne area
Very difficult course that suffers from mountain weather early in the summer. The tee boxes are to far back for most golfers especially shocked by women’s tees. Overall however, the views and the course layout are worth it all! Must try just for a good time!
Late Season Goodness
We scored an afternoon tee time and were pleasantly surprised after reading the other reviews on Ravens. Don’t believe everything you read. Yes the greens were sandy however the fairways, tee boxes and surrounding areas are lush and green. Plus, Ravens is the last man standing up the mountains! The staff and facilities were amazing and we’ll be getting back there before they close for the winter! If you decide not to walk to golf carts are deluxe! GPS & leather seats!
Bad Experience
Course was in horrible condition (winter kill), which happens at that elevation. Discounted rate still wasn't worth it. On multiple occasions during the round we had twosomes come out of nowhere and start playing in front of us. Was a total joke.
Enjoyable round
I enjoyed the round as I was paired with two members and a fourth. pace of play was nice although not played their before made it seem even more challenging. Needless to say I did not play my best.
Felt I was was playing twice as much as the other players I was with, I just was not relaxed and playing my best.
Not worth it, used to be a great course
One of the first mountain courses I’ve ever played, used to be one of the best. They blame a rough spring, but seems to me that they have just given up entirely. Tee box stones cracked in half, bunkers full of weeds, nothing to do with a rough spring. One of the best layouts and best views you’ll find while playing golf, just brutal conditions, they should have just shut down for 2020
The Raven
Course has gone downhill. Use to be a great course. Looks like it hasn't been watered in a month. Greens had more sand on them than a beach. Only 9 holes were open so had to play the same 9 twice. Paid $71/person. Wasn't worth $10/person.
Overpriced for conditions
Overpriced for conditions course terrible greens will not play again
Beautiful Course
My wife and I played this course while visiting Colorado. The layout was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely play this course again and again.
Poor Greens
The greens have a lot of winter damage that haven’t been fixed, so putting was very difficult. Beautiful views and friendly staff.
Great layout, poor greens
Views are spectacular and the layout is great, but most greens are in very poor condition.
Need to put some $$ into maintenance
Really disappointed with conditions. I understand the freeze problem wit greens but cart paths and sand traps inconsistencies.
Nice layout, brutal maintenance
Nice piece of property and nice clubhouse but absolutely horrendous conditions. Summer drought etc is not an excuse, as I’ve played 5 courses in area this week and all have been pristine until Raven. Worst 18 hole set of greens I’ve played in my days playing golf. Sand traps let go entirely, rough dead in most areas, many tee boxes destroyed. I would not recommend paying $50 to play it, let alone $120. Tough review I know but very fair, I play a lot of golf at many courses. It’s too bad because the layout is nice.
Greens are in terrible condition
Greens are disease and not taken care of. Fringe around the greens are not as well. Played there at least 5 times before. I would not recommend to anyone driving up from Denver to play.
Great layout, greens poor
Greens bumpy and slow, bunkers overgrown and lacking sand, very surprised at conditions for a very expensive course.
