About
Situated at the base of the Gore Mountain Range in the Rocky Mountains, Vail Golf Club is a mountain course with beautiful scenery provided by Gore Creek, which meanders through the layout, and the White River National Forest that rests adjacent to it. The golf course features flat, tree-lined fairways and medium-sized greens, both of which are well protected by numerous bunkers. The golf course plays through towering trees that demand accuracy. There are also several beaver ponds throughout the golf course that come into play on several holes. In addition to the scenic round, Vail Golf Club also provides practice facilities including a driving range and putting greens.

vail golf course is amazing
vail golf course is absolutely studying. breathtaking views throughout your play of all 18 holes. And really good condition beautiful flowers mountain ranges. The staff was nothing but friendly and helpful. We were running late and called to say we were running late and he said no problem he could push us forward. We ended up getting there on time and they got us right out they’re very swiftly. We never saw anyone playing in front of us or in back of us.

I felt a little rushed, even though we were scrambling, other than that it was... keeping in mind I have not played many times this year.

1st Time at Vail
The visitors are unbelievable, the course is an in reasonably good shape. The greens are a little slow, but true.
Shaggy Greens
Absolutely beautiful scenery. The greens were very slow and shaggy, more than the usual ball marks as well. I played with members that were just as surprised to see the conditions of the greens but did mention the course opened a little earlier than usual in the season because of the weather. Either way, had a great time, will definitely return. Can’t wait to see the course in its prime.

Thoroughly enjoyed round of golf today. Course was spectacular and staff was top notch! Highly recommend playing this course!
