Vail Golf Club

We played the Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks on August 17th - three days before our round at Vail Golf Club. The Raven had more elevation changes and better scenery, but Vail was in much better shape. Some of the fairways are pretty tight, but I enjoyed my round at Vail more than the Raven, and I shot a little better at Vail. We got a really good deal on GolfNow to play Vail, too.

It's expensive, the course isn't crazy, but the views and the vibes are awesome and worth it to pony up when visiting the area or when friends are in town.

I was pleasantly surprised at the good condition of the course. With low snow pack, watering restrictions and blazing heat, the staff should be commended.

The course is in good shape. The greens are better than they were a few years ago. We made it to the back nine when the rain started. By 13 it was raining hard and the siren went off so we came in and called it a day. Not sure why the siren went off. There wasn’t any lightning and as we left the property the sun came out. I think your GPS system on the cart could have done a better job of letting us know the weather status. If we had known the rain was going to stop we would have sought shelter until the rain stopped and finished our round.

We love this course. The day we played it was a bit wet and the greens were very slow.

Course and greens were in good shape, considering the drought over Colorado

Course was in good condition but rough was very high and close to greens and fairways, making it very difficult for average golfers.

Had an enjoyable day playinng the front nine twice at Vail. Would have liked to have known the back 9 was closed before booking. Course in very good shape for spring in the mountains.

Love everything this venue has to offer. Nice facilities and grounds. Practice area is legit. Staff is the best. They are alternating front and back 9’s right now, so if you’re playing 18 you will repeat the same track, until they get their updates completed. On their best days they deserve 5 stars all around.

vail golf course is absolutely studying. breathtaking views throughout your play of all 18 holes. And really good condition beautiful flowers mountain ranges. The staff was nothing but friendly and helpful. We were running late and called to say we were running late and he said no problem he could push us forward. We ended up getting there on time and they got us right out they’re very swiftly. We never saw anyone playing in front of us or in back of us.

I felt a little rushed, even though we were scrambling, other than that it was... keeping in mind I have not played many times this year.
