Lakeview Golf Resort - Mountainview Course

We enjoy golfing mountainview because it's cheap for last minute tee times. But tee boxes are never maintained, greens were barely maintained and the geese issue is outrageous. The cart paths need repair so bad that with the recent rain the geese were drinking and bathing in the crater potholes along the cart paths.

The kids at the front desk are nice but that's the most positive part. $15 for 18 on some days we take the bad with the semi bad.

Course looks like no one has worked on it in years. The back 9 didn't have pins or cups on ANY of the greens.

Our golf trip host had not been to this resort for 10 years and was appalled when he saw the 2 courses and hotel condition, In respect to him, I did not complain, but it was a declining resort at best. I will not return.

Many Greens and Tee boxes are mostly dead. Fairways are sparse. Digging wasps are ruining greens that aren't dead. Flags won't stay in the holes due to the wasp infestation so many are just laying on the greens. Some of the cart paths are hazardous . It's time to pull the plug on this place or put some money in it. We won't be back

Tee boxes are destroyed. Chunks and holes on the greens.. Sand traps have minimal sand. Mostly just a dusting on a tarp. Poor drainage. Ball would sink in the fairway and green. Greens are very patchy .

Granted that it has been very dry, the course conditions were very poor. Greens have large areas without green grass and the fairways are primarily crab grass. Drives cannot be stopped in the sloped fairways.

Most of this course is in rough shape. Couple greens were unplayable due lots of very large digging wasps going in and out of the holes.

Course played as good as it could get given the dry weather we have had killing all of the grass. You can tell they tried to upkeep as much as possible. (Greatly Appreciated). Staff was friendly, course price was great. Will definitely be back!

Hadn’t played here in a couple years, and figured I would give it a shot. Boy, did I regret that. The course was more brown than green (some is understandable because of how hot and dry it has been but the other 5 courses I have played this summer weren’t nearly this bad, the only green that didn’t have any brown on it was the practice green). Also, there were several (at least 4-5) greens that were completely covered in bees and they had active nests in the green and sometimes inside the hole itself. The dirt mounds from the bees nest entrances were the least of the worries when trying to putt. My playing partner and I elected to pick up and not even attempt to putt on these holes because of the amount of bees present. Considered requesting a refund and leaving, but had already traveled there and was hoping the course would improve on the later holes, but it only got worse. I would not play here for free, let alone pay what they charge to play. They obviously have little to no maintenance going on outside of an occasional mowing. Will not be playing here again.

The course has a good layout the green rolled well. The course is very dry and bunkers are in bad shape. I really liked the layout of the back 9. Hope they can get some rain

Course is in pretty good shape considering the lack of rain in our area. Greens were rolling smooth. Course is getting better after years of neglect, the grounds crew is out in a ton of work. There are some large wet areas from springs or something. The cart paths are rough.

The course was in much better shape then in the past years. This was overlooked due to the lack of carts available at both Lakeview and Mountainview. We had to wait 20 minutes for a cart to be available. The clubhouse had no water, no cold beer, and the ice machine was down.

Great course but need to show red zones before cart get derated.
