They’ve turned it around!
Management has turned this place completely around. As someone who swore this track off, the greens are in tip top shape, the fairways mown and widened, and overall the entire course has improved.
Enjoyable with issues
Fun course, but the cart paths are in horrible shape. They make you want to ride along in the grass the whole time.

Improved but needs some work
Heard from a friend that the course was in better shape. Decided to give it another try and it’s still in poor condition. Tee boxes need redone badly, bunkers were in poor condition, but greens were in great shape. However, several of them have digger bee nest in the cup and digging holes on the green. Mike was super nice and we got a great deal on GolfNow! However, I won’t be returning. All Lakeview properties are in terrible shape. Very sad for locals because we don’t have many options in town.

Greens in great shape!
I have played this course many times over the years and this was the best condition I've seen it in a long time. Greens were in great shape, medium speed. Fairways were being watered on almost every hole but I'd rather see that than letting them burn out like previous years. Bunkers still unplayable but loving the effort being put in!

Nice course
Nice course! Fairways were a little dried out, but there had been little rain for some time. Greens were in pretty good condition. Sand traps were clean. Fun course to play!

Pretty good golf course
The golf course is pretty good especially for the price. The only knock on it is that they don’t have a range.

Mountainview at Lakeview
The course is in great shape this year. Last year was a mess, but the greens are rolling great, and the fairways are solid. Only gripe is the slope of the fairways on 9 and 18, but that’s WV golf for you. Great value for $25 on a weekday!

Some improvement over last year, value is decent M-Th
I'm pleased to say that the course conditions have improved since last year. There are still some significant problems -- a few greens are still very bumpy (but starting to recover from being just covered with bald spots), a few bunkers and former bunkers are in awful shape, etc. -- but at least they are mowing regularly and the fairways are not as full of weeds as they were. The course was unplayable most of last year and the year before.
The cart paths are still a disaster.
I really wish they would not let people go off on the back when there are clearly groups on the last few holes of the front. This is a major issue at both Mountainview and Lakeview. It definitely makes me less likely to play there.

Played with my kids. There is a few blind shots. Course is tough but fair. Nice greens. Great carts with screens.

Same thing to write about this course as we wrote about Lakeview course
The course was fine, dry because of lack of rain this spring. But the cart paths!! Yikes, what cart paths?
It would have been and most of the time was better to drive on the grass than use the cart paths. They need to be reworked almost everywhere on the course.
Too bad that's my main memory. Because the golfing was a challenge but that's ok. It shouldn't be a challenge to drive from hole to hole.!
