Extremely expensive for what it is
It’s an extremely slow course, and poorly maintained. Where it’s over 80 dollars with a cart (course isn’t walkable). Not worth it one bit
Needs improvement
I’m am life time nyc resident, grew up in Washington heights. We are fortunate to have these public parks in our back I’ve played there on several occasions and found the experience to be pleasant. However, the last 3 times have been filled with delays and rude, curt treatment by the staff checking is in and being rushed on the course. I understand that sometimes the different smile skill levels and Weather conditions can make for delays and May require a shift in the pace of play and out to limit the amount of tee time available for that particular day. I consider the van Cortland course to be on o our treasures and hope this review will address the aforementioned concerns.
Nice golf course
The course was in good shape. A few tee boxes were not very good even though I did notice they were fixing some of them. I thought 40 dollars for the golf cart was on the expensive side.
