Diamond in the rough

Recently punched fairways and greens but coming back nicely. Always a nice round of golf, great practice facilities for a city course, best in class. Also greens were quick and definitely a stout test for this 14 handicapper.

Great rate on this day because of an outing scheduled for late morning. Would really like to see all city greens fees rolled back.

Lucky so far

Course is in nice shape, greens are rock hard to the point that lob shots don’t stop, but the overall condition is amazing for the amount of traffic.

Luckily the first couple of rounds have been void of Brooklyn attitudes that lurk in the shadows and can be heard at close range. Maybe I’m getting old, but it’s getting tiring hearing some tattooed guido complain about not being able to hit 1 of 5 mulligans in the fairway.
