Marine Park Golf Course

I liked this course. Just a bit dry on fairways. Greens were nice and a bit fast. Def coming back.

I play marine park a lot and the course is a bit dry / burnt more than usual on the fairways and rough right now. Greens are still in great shape as they have been recently.

My home course these days.. 10 minutes between tee times spaces groups out.. conditions are good,

Tee times are much better value than dyker or forest park, and much closer than bethpage. And no tolls to get there. they make a good burger at the grill.

The course looked good , greens running fast, windy day to play

Played here many times. Course is still in good condition even with the continued redesign of some holes on the back nine. Plays longer due to usual windy conditions but fairways have generous landing areas. Big greens with undulation to deal with.

A great weather day not too windy, for a links style wide open course, that is great. The course is in good shape, greens rolling nicely. The group struggled despite an eagle, birdie, and pars on hole one.

Challenging greens but overall a solid course to play. The breeze coming in from the water is welcome on hot days!

I have been playing city courses since 1992 and this course is by far the best I have ever played. The layout, the attention to the greens, bunkers and tee boxes is not matched anywhere. Some of the other courses can take care of one of these aspects of a course, but at Marine Park all three are well maintained. I played with some gentlemen who told me what the course was once like and they could not say enough about the transformation. The fairways have plenty of variation and drain very well. The dunes all over the course make it attractive and challenging. Love the practice range and plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only negative comment is regarding the gas carts and the awful cart paths… Hope they can get to that next!
