Aeration but good weather
The aeration season is upon us, greens and fairways, give them a couple of weeks.
Still the Best Around
The course is in pretty good shape. The tee boxes and greens were recently aerated and should be back to normal in a cool couple of weeks. Marine Park is still in the best shape of any of the public courses in Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
Nice round even though greens aerated
Charged full price for aerated greens that didn’t behave as they normally do. Still a nice layout and fairways were in excellent shape.
MPGC
The course is beautiful and wide open. The greens are very tricky but perfectly maintained. A great place to play.

Shame on golf now you should require all courses to let you know if they are aerated to pay $50 for aerated greens is ridiculous shame on golf now
nice NYC public course
Fast greens,tight lines and skeeta city if you stand still too long and there's no wind. Not an easy course but to me very enjoyable to play. Staff was excellent on this day.

A lot to like about this course. great place to play for average golfer. you won’t lose balls!!!
The course lay out is Good but.
The only thing they need to invest in are new Golf carts cause every cart you drive ,feels like it's about to break down.
Best Affordable Course in the City
It’s been a few years since I moved out of NYC and it still remains as the best option in the city (excluding Ferry Point). Greens have always been fast, undulating and well maintained but noticed improvements across the tee boxes, fairways and bunkers. Great layout with some nice views of Manhattan in the background. Pace of play was slow (as always with city courses.) Although it’s quite far, you can make a great day out of it by taking the ferry from wall street to rockaway and taking a 10-15 minute Uber from the ferry terminal to the course.
Great Turnaround
Haven't played in years but they really cleaned this place up. Greens are fast and difficult fairways are pretty clear, rolling hills and bunkers make it feel like a european links course. Golf carts and paths were pretty beat up but I wish there were half stars for a 4.5. Very impressed with the improvements
perfect weather
I arrived late and was allowed to catch up with the threesome, before the next fours tee off. The course was in good shape, having just hosted several tournaments and pace was good for a four to five hr course. The layout brings players back to the clubhouse after nine and fourteen, great for twilighters.
