Situated along the shores of Canandaigua Lake, Bristol Harbor is in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine country. Robert Trent Jones designed the golf course in 1972. The layout practically offers two courses with a front nine that showcases lakefront views and a back nine that plays through the forest. The front nine is also composed of links-style holes as opposed to the tighter holes on the back nine. The golf course plays longer than the 6,662 yards indicated on the scorecard thanks to a variety of different challenges. There are plenty of bunkers strategically placed along the greens and be prepared for some tricky uphill shots. The signature hole is the par-4 14th. This scenic hole is set in a deep gorge within the Bristol Hills, creating a dramatic drop in elevation from the fairway to the green.

Best course conditions in Rochester area! Fairways, greens and the most illusive in our area, the sand trap, all amazing! Beautiful views, great golf.
What a gem!
First time playing here and I have to say this course is amazing. This course is a must play. Challenging holes, everything manicured to perfection, Carts with Gps. I warmed up at the range and was just blown away from the whole experience. If it were closer I'd join. Instead I'll frequent this course.
Great birthday round with my teenage sons
Awesome course and amenities and let's not forget the views. Would have been off the charts but Wednesdays are senior days and we got stuck behind a slow foursome on the back nine. With the teenage boys this wasn't to bad but the groups in front and behind us where not overly excited..
The best course I have ever played
The slope on this course makes it challenging. It is impeccably maintained and has fantastic views on every hole. The tavern food is outstanding and the staff is extraordinary. The view from the patio is truly breathtaking. People who come here rave about the course. Ownership has done everything possible to upgrade this facility in every aspect and are not done yet. other courses that I have played pale in comparison. This is a must for the avid golfer.
Prettiest course upstate
I’ve been playing here since 1984. It’s a treat to play here, a bit pricey but it is yep ten public in the state. Play the whites if you are new here. Blues are challenging and Black is for experts. Two nines are very different. Pro is a great guy and very accommodating . We did 18 in just under 4 hours. Greens were a bit bumpy from spike marks a d repaired divots but course is lush and well appointed. If you belong to a private club this course will meet your expectations. Overall satisfied

Beautiful course
What a beautiful course. The front nine had great views of the lake and the back nine had some hidden holes which made for some interesting shots. Would love to play in the fall.
