Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Poorly maintained
To say the course is not being properly maintained is an understatement. There were golf cart tracks on multiple greens and when we brought it to the attention of the staff they scoffed at it. The tee boxes weren’t up to standards either.
Golf is Good
I was playing the course the other day with randoms and had the best day possible The group was fun even though they airated, it was still great play from all three gentlemen. We did shoot in the low '90s but the laughter from start to finish was the best I've ever had...
The course was in terrible shape on the greens, fairways, and bunkers. No one is taking care of the course which is sad because it can be a really nice course due to the layout.
Great value
GN needs to update that courses are be aireated. It would be helpful when booking
Pine ridge
Could be a great course if there was more grass around the green then dirt and sand, horrible chipping around the greens..really nice layout.not bad for the money.
Half a course with no heads up?
Normally I have a great time at this course. Unfortunately as I walked up to the first green I noticed that the greens had been aerated which normally isn’t the biggest deal but this course was pretty much unplayable in this condition. My frustration wasn’t with the course but with the staff. I had asked about the course condition in the club house and was given no warning at all. Then after my frustration had grown throughout the first 9 holes the maintenance crew had shut down the WHOLE back 9 with no heads up from anyone at the pro shop. This just didn’t make sense to me why someone didn’t mention this before teeing off.
Don’t play here.
Course is in terrible shape. Tee boxes muddy. Driving range is terrible. Almost a surreal feeling playing the course - felt like it was abandoned.
Great course
Very tuff course but the guys we got paired with where great
Condition
For a course 35 more then other places in the area it was in the worst condition
Greens were beat up
Really Disappointing
Our foursome plays all the course on Long Island unfortunately this was a horrible experience. Greens and fairways a total mess. Area around greens all burnt out. It was a hot day and they said they would be a cart never saw one Staff They n pro shop was rude and not helpful. Stay away
Needs TLC
Tee boxes have no grass. Fairways are a mixture of dirt and sand. Greens are very beat up and rolling ridiculously fast. This course needs some taking care of. Not worth the money.
GUR
It seems to me the course has decided not to even try to maintain the golf course. There are areas particularly around the greens that are bare or where not bare haven't been cut and manicured for months, I drove 40 miles to golf there and I've enjoyed the course in the past but it certainly wasn't worth the trip this time. In the past the GOLFNOW price included your cart. Now it's a walking deal which makes the golf experience even worse, I won't be back anytime soon
