Our foursome plays all the course on Long Island unfortunately this was a horrible experience. Greens and fairways a total mess. Area around greens all burnt out. It was a hot day and they said they would be a cart never saw one Staff They n pro shop was rude and not helpful. Stay away

Tee boxes have no grass. Fairways are a mixture of dirt and sand. Greens are very beat up and rolling ridiculously fast. This course needs some taking care of. Not worth the money.

It seems to me the course has decided not to even try to maintain the golf course. There are areas particularly around the greens that are bare or where not bare haven't been cut and manicured for months, I drove 40 miles to golf there and I've enjoyed the course in the past but it certainly wasn't worth the trip this time. In the past the GOLFNOW price included your cart. Now it's a walking deal which makes the golf experience even worse, I won't be back anytime soon

I only started playing 1.5 years ago and this course was definitely a challenge for me. I played from the blue tees to try to make it difficult so I could learn more. Fairways were pretty narrow for me and there were a few tee boxes with branches hanging low directly in front of it that I hit on my tee shot which is incredibly annoying. Most of the par 4/5s were extreme dog legs so tough for a beginner like me tempting me to try the harder shots (lost the most balls I’ve ever lost in one round here). Also the greens were stupidly fast and wouldn’t hold a single approach shot and had to 3 putt several times when I normally average 1.7 pph a round. The pace of play was not bad if I am ignoring the one group in front of us. We were at an under 4 hour pace halfway through but they played extremely slow causing us to finish at about 5 hours (they were two full holes behind the group in front of them). I think it’s a great course to learn and would definitely recommend it

I’ve played this course on and off over the last 15 years. It always had a very challenging layout and was usually in decent condition. This year the conditions on the course unfortunately have not been good. One gets the feeling that management is just not putting the money into the maintenance of the course. Ropes down piled up on the side, ball marks on the greens are terrible, lower lying wet areas not roped off just getting more and more dug up, just a lot of little things that add up to a not so great experience.

Staff was very friendly and got us out on time. Multiple sets of tees make course as challenging as you want. The course is beaten up in places and with a little money could be better groomed. The greens were tough and unusually fast considering torrential rain the night before. No food or beverage, I guess due to Covid. Prices very good compared to other courses in area.

The course Greens and fairways were In decent shape for late August. I be played this course a few times and enjoyed it each time.

This was by far the worst course I have ever played. We left after 11 holes because the course and the pace of play was absolutely dreadful. The tee boxes were atrocious and the greens were rock hard, as if they have not been watered in days . I will never waste my time and money at this course ever again.

The course is in terrible shape. Fairways are in bad shape, the rough is dried out dirt in most areas and the greens are bumpy and they have so many ball marks. Tee boxes are also in bad shape. For the cost there are many other courses I’d rather play that are in better shape.

Tough course that could be so much better with a few modifications and some TLC. Tight lines with trees everywhere. If you spray the ball off the tee, you're gonna have a long day. Layout is actually pretty cool and makes you hit every club in the bag. But the rough is a mess and because of all the tree cover, there's a lot of bare spots and dirt shots. Bunkers and tee boxes need work too. And parts of the course look like they've never been tended to. From the tips, this could be a serious challenge with 2 par 4's at over 475 yards. And a few cool par 3's. But for the money, it should be in better shape.

Play here 3 or 4 times a season, and yesterday was the worst conditions ever. Many tee boxes without any turf, every green very beat up. Fairways were in good shape and best feature

Place was a good time. The gentleman who greeted us and set us up was very nice. Greens were “difficult” which was nice. Overall course was in good shape. The person checking us in before we played wasnt the greatest. Maybe he had an off day. There was one last guy who took out carts when we were done. He was great. I would play again.

I would play this course for $30. Absolutely not worth the $50 (+$15 for cart) per head. Wish we spent the extra $20 and went to a well-managed course. The greens and tee boxes were in poor shape. The cart paths are atrocious which resulted in huge puddles resultant from recent storms. I understand the weather causes issues we can’t control. But if you’re going to open in these conditions, the fair thing is to decrease the rates.
