Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

This course is challenging for a once a week golfer. Never played here before and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were out and about, friendly, and continually preparing greens and fairways. If you want a change in venue I would give this ace a try. 35.00 18 holes walking. I play other courses very similar that ask 80.00 with a cart. If you wanted a cart it was extra 15 for single riders.
Perfect round of gold
This was my first time out since February. It felt great to be outdoors. A bad day of golf beats a good day at work or watching re-runs any day.
Challenging Course. In decent condition, some tee boxes could use a little work, but overall a decent course given the price.
Gorgeous greens
Pine Ridge is a really nice course with some excellent holes. It is on the short side requiring accurate tee shots. Played firm and fast today. They have opened up some fairway area by cutting down some trees. Still Has very sandy lies when you miss your spots and mused angles run into the trees easily making scoring very tough. A fun day though.
Will be back
This was my first time playing this course and I will definitely play it again. Course was challenging without being overly long. It requires strategy to play well. It was good shape. Very enjoyable round of golf.
Great track
Great layout and challenges all over. I played here 2 weeks ago and the greens to were too fast... now they are perfect and rolling very well. Great place to play and reasonable rates.
Rude and was lied too
The staff told me I was not aloud to have a cart due to the rain however every single person I saw on the corse had a cart. What’s the point then. This was my 3rd time I been there and always got a cart before. The corse was very dirty beers and ripped up boxes everywhere. I like this corse a lot too but was disappointed. The staff also told me they never give carts after 4 which might be true however I played there last week at 3:50 and got one I really don’t see the difference or under it and though because we were younger that we would disrespect the corse. Probably won’t be back now.
Better
The course is in better shape then when I played it last year. Last year the greens were unputtable because of hundreds of ball marks. This time the greens were not bad at all. Maybe a little slow but much better.
Disappointed
This course has potential to be a great course. But they have totally let this course go. Greens are full of weeds and unrepaired divots from years of misuse. Fairways and rough are really patchy and tee boxes are terrible. Divots in the entire tee box. They need a new superintendent of grounds, someone who cares.
The starter was a grumpy old man with an attitude toward everyone. The pro shop worker was really nice.
Good Course, Odd Layout
Overall course is fine, but the layout is confusing. You often have to walk/drive long distances to the next hole and even have to double back on one which is just odd. If you are driving it isn't as big of an issue but now that most people walk (Covid time period) it makes things more difficult.
