Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

No groups were head of us and behind.
3 and half hours rounding. Enjoyed rounding with my wife as I played at private golf club. I think it’s a little more time to be good shape of greens. There were bumpy because of airification of greens.
Poor course
Almost had the course to myself. No value here. $30 for a single for cart. Greens fees $45. Most players were walkers. Most holes do not have rough. There’s fairways then hard pan then woods. Bunkers are hard pan. You can actually put out of most of them. Nice layout. Definitely needs a new superintendent for course management. Clubhouse staff are great. Too bad course can’t imitate Christina and Ray.
Needs some TLC
I like the course but the fairways are chopped up, the bunkers need to be cleaned up and the greens were blotchy. If they ever get a greens keeper in there that knows how to treat a golf course, it would be a top 20 course on the Island. Clean up the leaves and branches that are down everywhere, grow some real grass on the fairways, clean up the bunkers and take care of your greens, please.
Decently nice course and layout. Very nice staff but it took 4 hours to play 9 holes. Yes 4 hours to play 9. My group didn’t play the back 9 and got a rain check for it which the staff had no problem with but it was ridiculous. We will go back to collect our rain check but that will be the last time we go back there. It’s a shame though cause the course is nice and the staff was great.
