Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Poor Course Conditions
For $101 dollars ($71 for walking + $30 for cart) I would expect better conditions. Greens were bare in spots, bunkers / fairways blended together. Cart paths bled into bunkers, it was really not well manicured.
Sticky hot summer day
I enjoyed playing golf at this course.
Every fairways and greens were well maintained but some holes were dead grass on the green.
I paid low amount of green fee by TeeOff. It was reasonable price they prepared on the site. It was hot sticky day while I was playing but it was enjoyable moment because no one was head of us. I should come back again when it would be little cool down.
Worst Course on Long Island
This is by far the worst course on Long Island. I haven’t played here in 3 years and now I remember why. The tee boxes and fairways are loaded with crab grass not to mention the bunkers are full of rocks and it looks like Godzilla walked through them. The price is astronomical compared to what condition the course is in. This course needs to get shut down and condominiums should be placed here. Awful experience.
slow play
We came to the course on time in fact early . We told 20 to 30 minute delay on tee time by starter . Secondly the round was a wait on just about EVERY hole . A ranger came out and nothing happened . More rangers are needed to assist slow players or let others play through . the round was well over 5 hours!! Some of the traps were unplayable because of rocks.
Very Fun Course!
Pine Ridge is a Great Course. Gives you The feeling That your in The Country. Tree lined holes on every hole. Challenging and fun! I Got a hole in one on hole #15. ! It was fqntastic!
Not worth the money
First off charging $40 a cart is ridiculous. I expect a little more out of the coarse for an overall $95 round. Greens were horrible. Not my first time playing here but definitely my last.
Bad Course overall especially for price
This course is the worst on Long Island. I would play here if I was a very beginner for 40$ total with cart. The fact that they charge the same as other courses is a disgrace. Play anywhere else no matter if it’s 20$ more.
A Very Country Feel Course
I love Pine Ridge. All holes are secluded from each other. You almost never see any fairways or Greens other Than yours. Lots of Tree lign fairways. I Got a hole in one on #15. Great Course
Course needs work
Pine ridge may think it’s pine hurst based on its conditions and difficulty. But let’s face it, youre playing here because the other courses were already booked. If you like to hit your driver off the tee then this is not the course for you. The unforgiving out of bounds areas will surly lose you handful of balls. Even when you do hit the fairway, the unkept sands and choppy fairway will surly make it less appealing. Cart paths are trails through the woods and pace of play is not kept on weekends.
Poor pace and Conditions
I enjoy about every round of golf I play except this one. No pace whatsoever, and it seems they booked times close together for max profits. Not caring about the quality of an experience. Payed 71 dollars and didn’t even get a cart? Oh that’s an extra 15 when you get there.
