Lake Isle Country Club
About
Located in the heart of Eastchester, Lake Isle Country Club is a facility that is owned by the town and offers a swimming complex with five pools and a tennis center with eight courts in addition to the 18-hole, championship golf course. Opened in 1926, the course is one of the oldest in the area and it is still a local favorite. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course may be on the shorter side but it still offers some challenging holes. The layout is mostly reachable par 4s as well as a few tricky par 3s and only an occasional par 5. The golf course has a classic design that is approachable enough for a range of skill levels to feel comfortable tackling the layout.

A Gem with Rough
A public course, reasonable green fees, but a private golf course experience. Even though the course is relatively easy, the play is very enjoyable and everything is top notch, the pace, the tee boxes, the fairway and the greens.
Great course
I was pleasantly surprised by the conditions of the course. The course was very well maintained and the grass has been well kept through the Spring. One of the better public course experiences I have had in NY. Although the course played shorter, the longer par 3's offered a unique challenge. I would definitely play again and will recommend to friends.
Very nice course. In great condition.
Excellent conditions. Greens in great shape.
Very challenging with many 400 plus yard par 4 holes and a few long par 3 over 200 yds.
Pace
I went out on my own behind four or five foursomes. I would have preferred to have played with others but unfortunately everybody who showed up was part of a foursome. This wasn’t the fault of the club but it did take quite some time to get around. Otherwise it was fine. I’m very familiar with the course so that was a plus.
If it wasn't for the sun, we would be still playing
Great round, course some-what busy but we managed to play 27 holes........ Easy flow when you have good golfers in -front.......
Solid fall play
For playing in mid October. The Course was in great shape. Greens were quick and true. The crew was out blowing the leaves as we played which was nice.
Foreeee!
Good
I would play again. Layout is decent but nothing special and overall benign. Greens in good shape, but lots of unrepaired divots.
Not worth $50 in week days
I paid $50 for a Wednesday golf, I hope it’s great. But the condition is not as 3.9 star review. 3.0 is acceptable.
First time here but not willing to be back again.
Great round
Course was empty today and the round was quick!! Course was in good condition
Good value
This is a short course with a decent layout and good greens. The bunkers and some fairway areas need TLC. But overall it is a reasonable value for a casual round of golf with friends.
Great weather greens rolling pace of play was great for the money great value
For the price great value
I usually play Van Cortlandt Or Sprain lake both ok courses, sprain much nicer, but both pace of play slow and greens slow or average. First time playing Lake Isle 7/26/19 had a 12:43 tee time. Staff was nice. Course is in great condition. Greens are a lil above average as far as speed, they actually roll! Pace of play was awesome had a foursome in front of us, we were a threesome, played out round in about 4hrs 15mins. That’s unheard off for me so I was excited about that. For $69 to play a semi country club course, short but challenging, I would definitely recommend this course and I will absolutely be playing again soon!
