Lake Isle Country Club
About
Located in the heart of Eastchester, Lake Isle Country Club is a facility that is owned by the town and offers a swimming complex with five pools and a tennis center with eight courts in addition to the 18-hole, championship golf course. Opened in 1926, the course is one of the oldest in the area and it is still a local favorite. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course may be on the shorter side but it still offers some challenging holes. The layout is mostly reachable par 4s as well as a few tricky par 3s and only an occasional par 5. The golf course has a classic design that is approachable enough for a range of skill levels to feel comfortable tackling the layout.

Course itself is a classic layout and was well maintained
If you can get around the craziness of the parking lot and lack of a bag drop, the course is well maintained and a good value for a close 45 min from Manhattan.
Great Course
Had a great round of Golf, Everyone was great. The course was in very good condition.
Course is a great value.
Nice course. Short but tight so it is deceiving. After first three holes, the course picks up in length and challenge. Greens are great as well as the fairways. Bunkers are so so, hard with some rocks ? For the price on Golfnow great value. I would play it again for sure.
course has privacy
A fair course for a grinder as well as a beginner. Good shape for amount of play I am sure it gets.
Ok course but too short and narrow.
Not a bad course but certainly a big stretch to call this course "championship" which the club does. Very short course (several par 4s at 300 yards) and quite narrow. An ok muni course at best. Fairways and greens are in good shape. Sand traps are rough. Probably wont return despite not a bad value with the golfnow discount. For a bit more money, there are plenty of actual championship courses in the area.
great greens
Greens were very well maintained. True greens. Dogleg holes and long par 3's very challenging.
well maintained course. easy booking thr. GolfNow. I like it.
I have played at Lake Isle several weekends. I can only book thr. GolfNow because it is a local club belong to Eastchester. It is a well maintained, nice course. The best thing for me is you don't have to wait long to hit a ball, it is not crowded like another courses in the area. It costs a little more, but worth it.
Surpisingly fast pace for Sunday afternoon.
I walked on as a single and got placed with pair of golfers and actually got to tee off before my scheduled tee time,
Good course at good value
very nice course, especially for the costs. I don't have more to say at this time.
very nice golf course
nice fast pace of play and very nice staff great location
Great staff, comfortable play
Friendly, engaging staff. Long par threes and long grass were the main challenges. Otherwise the course was forgiving.
Great course to play.
Lake Isle is one of the best semi private courses in Westchester County. The course is challenging and makes you use every club in the bag. Also, there are some pretty long and tough par threes so you better bring your A game !!!!!
This course is good for players of all ability
Only complaint was carts are not equipped with GPS. Would also like to see better quality of sand in traps. I will definitely replay course in the future.
Formerly private
Interesting layout. Some holes close to parking lot were shortened to accommodate new facility when Town of Eastchester took over 25 or so years ago. Decently maintained. Greens roll well. Traps more dirt mix than sand. All in all, a good playing experience, well worth the money (2 @ $75).
always pleasant, needs better food facility
Golf course in good shape, not overcrowded, No waiting to tee off management very friendly and nice group of golfers
good course for beginners
Course is well kept and not too busy. We got around in 4.5 hours which is good for a course in New York.
Challenging greens but in great shape
Played this course for the first time and found it was pretty easy even from the longest tees. The greens were big and difficult to read. Fairways in good shape.
Golfnow deal is worth it
For only being open 1 week the course was in decent shape. There's lots of space to work with on this course. The greens have zero break in them. It's a nice place to have a stress free round. I'd definitely go back with a golfnow rate.
